60's OCEAN FRONT BEACH HOUSE
Ooh La Mer is an original 1960s beach house overlooking the ocean at Mystery Bay, a remote seaside hamlet on the Sapphire Coast which is surrounded by national park, backed by spectacular Gulaga mountain in the west, and the sparkling waters of Montague Island to the east.
You will feel instantly at ease in this surprising and spacious 3-bedroom beach house with light and sun streaming in and the mesmerising ocean sparkling in front of you.
Couples and families have much to enjoy: boating, fishing, golf, bush walking, and the many beaches including Mystery Bay beach with its many rock pools and sheltered bays where children can splash about safely. Snorkel, swim or just paddle about, or take a rod and fish at Poole's Beach, or further along again is 1080, the surfer's beach.
Ooh La Mer is available for holidays between 1 December 2017 and 31 January 2018.
The house is light and sunny with a well-equipped kitchen, a lounge/dining room, and a TV room so kids and parents can enjoy separate spaces; a wood heater keeps things cosy in winter, and in summer the ocean breezes make for refreshing entertaining on the deck, or if a heatwave hits, cool off inside in airconditioned comfort.
There is a bathroom and separate toilet; the bathroom has a great bath for kids, and although you shower in the bath, it looks out to the forest behind the house - perfect for navel-gazing. There's a second shower and toilet in the laundry.
There are three bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a double bed, and the third is set up for kids with a double bunk plus trundle. There is a sofa bed in the lounge area.
All beds come with pillows and quilts and there are plenty of blankets to cuddle up with, however you will need to supply your own sheets and towels or these can be provided as an optional extra.
Please bear in mind that we do not allow smoking in the house and we ask that you inform the owner if you would like to bring your pets.
