The Cottage, 32 Lamont Young Drive, Mystery Bay, NSW

The house has an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area just what is required when on holidays. it now has a nice homley feel about it, the house has been newly painted rearranged and fitted out with the comforts you would expect.

There is one bedroom downstairs with two comfy single beds a bed side table and two lamps and a large biult in storage waredrobe.

There is a seperate toilet and the bathroom has a shower area as well as a bath, the laundry is fitted out with a washer, dryer and a single tub.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms with queen-size beds & individual reading lamps, bed side tables and hanging space and a set of storge draws .

Both upstairs bedrooms have ceiling fans and screened windows to allow gentle cooling breeezes and the sound of the ocean to follow in.

The lounge area includes a leather lounge seats five, side tables and reading lamps a new 40'' flat screen TV powered by a Satelite a blueray DVD player and ipod docking station with radio, there is over 50 videos avalidle to view.

The Cottage is a PET-FREE environment, inside or outside, the house backs onto the Eurobodalla National Park and there are no boundary fences.

There is a paved area at the back of the house with table and chairs and a BBQ for your use. The verandah at the front of the house has a dual sitting chair and table so you can watch all the birds fly by.

The concreted drive way has parking for three cars, there is an outside shower and a wash down tap for the water toys.

Mystery Bay, NSW

Mystery Bay is a pretty costal hamlet, located just 10km South of Narooma and 7.7km North of the histroic town of Tilba Tilba made famous by the TV show "River Cottage".

It is Surrounded by The Eurobodalla National Park to the south, farm land to the West and Camping grounds to the North along with a selection of spectacular beaches to the east.

The rocks at Mystery Bay are a dominant feature of the area making the area an ancient site not found any where on the east coast the black mudstone and slate dating back nearly 500 million years.

The North end of Mystery Bay has offshore rock bars that create sheltered swimming beaches at high tide and small warm rock pools at low tide,the absence of waves and the gentle slope of the bottom means this area is suitable for supervised young children and less adventurous adults.

The middle of the Bay is more exposed, the water is a little deeper making ideal conditions for scuba diving and snorkelling. There are picnic tables on the grassy lawns and you can enjoy the views of the sandy beaches and whales and dolphins when around.

For boats and Kayakers there is a sheltered boat ramp at the south end of the Bay. There are electric bbq's, public toilets and a gazebo for everyone to use with great ocean views.

Local Attractions

The Cottage is a 350metre walk to Mystery Bay on a paved flat road.

At the back of the house you can take a 10 minute walk to beautiful Poole's Beach which is an ideal sheltered surfing beach or further along you can surf at 1080 beach or have a picnic on one of the picnic tables on the cliff top enjoying the Whales and Dolphins passing by.

Visit historic villages like Tilba Tilba and Central Tilba and enjoy the atmosphere of the quaint shops and cheese factory.

Take a stroll down the 850m long Mill Bay boardwalk at Narooma and see the Manta Rays, Octopi and Dolphins, guaranteed to be the best aquarium you will see.. The Boardwalk is wheelchair accessible .

Hire a boat or kayak and enjoy the beautuful blue lakes such as Wagonga inlet. .

Montague Island is only only a hop skip and a jump away so take a charter boat. You can visit the lighthouse, viw the seals, penguins, dolphins and whales, see thousands of nesting sea birds. You can combine the island tour with some fishing or dving.

Fish are abundant in the ocean, estuaries or fresh water streams and lakes of the area.

For those Art enthusiasts, take your easels to the many beaches, soak up the atmosphere and paint.

Go to one of the larger towns such as Narooma, Bermagui or Moruya and enjoy an excellent seafood restaurant.

For bush walkers and cyclists there are trails and picnic spots throughout National Parks and around the shores of lakes.

Golfers are welcomed at the Narooma Golf Club which is famous for its cliff-top greens
