Mystery Bay Beach house is a very popular stylishly furnished house Great for couples or families. Maximum 6 guests. It is very quiet, sheltered and secluded (at the end of a no through road) with no traffic going past - tucked in next to the Eurobodalla National Park -and just a couple of minutes walk through the Park to the wonderful beaches. The path to the beach leads from our driveway. One street back from the beach, we have lovely views of the ocean and of the whales frolicking during their migratory seasons.
Sorry, no pets.
BBQ or just lounge on the rear deck and watch the waves splashing on the scenic rocks...or try a spot of fishing, golf, kayaking, snorkelling, photography or walk for miles on pristine beaches. Lots of bush walking opportunities, lovely local swimming or travel short distances to other nearby beaches. The scenery in this region is outstanding.
For quiet times there are books, CDs, cards and puzzles and a good pair of binoculars to view the birds and boats. There is a hard disc recorder, DVD and a sound bar as well as the TV.
Sightsee at either of the 2 most popular nearby tourist sites... Narooma is 10 minutes north (fabulous scenic golf course) and the wonderful National Trust village of Tilba is 10 minutes south or take a boat trip out to Montague Island to see the seals and wonderful bird life.
There are 5 single beds and a Queen, plenty of blankets - plus each bed has electric blankets for the cooler weather -but you will need to bring your own sheets, pillowslips and towels or we can provide for $20 per person. There are 2 bathrooms, one downstairs with shower, basin and toilet... and upstairs shower, basin, large bath and toilet. Both recently completely renovated - and also a garden shower for after the beach!
The kitchen is supplied with heaps of crockery, glassware, saucepans, bowls, casserole dishes and utensils. There is a Weber BBQ on the upstairs deck and a big garden for picnic lunches.
Please help yourselves to teas, ground coffee, and basic condiments (flour, sugar etc.)
Next door is the National Park with lovely spotted gums, wallabies, native birdlife and walks to other beaches in the park. Bush paths across the road from the house lead to a small road access to more beautiful beaches e.g 1080 is the popular surfing beach for the locals.
This is a very quiet peaceful place to rest and enjoy.

Because of a rather bad experience with Uni students I am sorry we cannot take student bookings.
Everyone who stays here gives us positive feedback ... partly because of the unique location (at the end of the no through road) next to a National Park of Spotted gum trees and wild-life with miles of walking and swimming beach coves at the end of the path through the woods!- ( spot the rock wallabies) and also because they love the house as it is well equipped with all the little extras and it is fully renovated..
You will love Mystery Bay. It is so unique.
