"Pay for 2, stay for 3" special -this property offers the "pay for 2, stay for 3" special on weekends, "3 for 4" on long weekends, or "5 for 4" over Easter. The special can be applied to any day of arrival - if the applicable weekend rate is paid. The special does not apply in December and January.
Location - The Shack is located at Palm Beach on the waterfront reserve of St Georges Basin. You have private access to the reserve and also the local playground and BBQ area.

Configuration - The Shack is an original 1950s cottage that comprises 3 bedrooms and an open plan living and dining area withreverse cycle air-conditioning. As you enter the house you have combined laundry and bathroom on your left with washer anddryer, before you make your way into the open plan living and dining area. The kitchen has all the mod cons needed while away on holidays including a dishwasher. Down the hallway are the 3 bedrooms. Main with a queen and the other two have split bunks - ideal for young children. Facing the waterfront you have a large open entertaining deckand boat shed with direct access to the waterfront reserve. The yard is fully fenced.
Outdoors -A large backyard, and entertaining deck makes this house perfect for outdoor living.
Heating and Cooling - The Shack has split system air-conditioning along with a combustion fireplace in the living area. There also electric heaters in the bedrooms.
Linen - Linen is supplied at The Shack. Please however remember to bring your beach towels.
Parking - The yard is large enough to park a boat or up to 2 cars.
Pets - Sorry, the Shack is not a pet friendly property.
Minimum stay -There is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January
Peak changeover day -Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Internet / Wi-Fi access- please be aware that there is no ADSL in Hyams Beach and poor ADSL internet in most other areas of Jervis Bay. As a result, until the NBN is rolled out, none of our houses offers internet access. If a house has internet, you may use it but with no guarantee by us or the owner re its reliability. If you bring an internet dongle, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise guests go to various cafes in Huskisson, the Sanctuary Point Public Library or the St Georges Basin Country Club - all of which provide free Wi-Fi.
