Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely place with a great view It's a lovely place with a great view. The outside deck is really nice with plenty of trees around and birds, specially kookaburras. The house is nicely kept and has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stay! The house is located on a quiet street. It has a great view of the water, with the occasional kangaroo hopping by! The kitchen has pretty much everything you could need, lots of plates and bowls. Bunk bedrooms are small, but are all that they need to be. BBQ outside on the deck was fabulous. Would stay again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Location, location, location! We enjoyed our short but sweet stay at The Shack. The waterfront was a hop, skip and a jump away from our back yard so we could go swimming anytime we wanted and did not have to worry about parking. The Shack has all the comforts of home but with only one bathroom, it is really only suited to a family of four. The BBQ (which needed a good clean) was the only item used on the entertainment deck as it was too hot to sit outside with no cover/shade from the summer sun. However going outside in the early mornings and late afternoons made it possible to lie on the two sun lounges and enjoy a good book (and/or drink). There are no flyscreens on the windows in the main bedroom nor on the slide doors leading outside from the living area so letting in the fresh air also means letting in unwanted guests such as mozzies and flies. The lights in one of the kids' bedrooms did not work at all and there were dead bugs in the runners of the sliding doors, however these were minor inconveniences. Seeing the kangaroos that also call this area home as well as the general quietness and friendliness of the locals made this an enjoyable stay for us.
