"Pelican View is a linen supplied property with Egyptian cotton linen on all beds including electric blankets and warm blankets for all beds.Towels are also supplied for guests, although we ask that you still supply your own beach towels.
Pelican View's open-plan design creates a spacious and comfortable environment. Sliding doors lead from the living area to the deck, allowing immediate access to the uninterrupted views of the beautiful tranquil waters of St Georges Basin. The house comprises of 4 bedrooms, 2 brand new bathrooms 1 en-suite in the master bedroom, an open plan kitchen, living room and dining room. Reverse cycle air conditioning in the living area will cool this single level living space. Take a look at the floorplan to visualize the layout.
The modern chefs kitchen features stainless steel appliances with a double sided fridge, oven, electric stove top, microwave and dishwasher. There is a generous island kitchen bench and a full range of high quality kitchen appliances including a Nespresso coffee pod machine, glassware including rustic jam jars for your cold drinks. There is asupply of coffee compatible Nespresso capsules and capsule menu, variety of teas, hot chocolate and sugar are available for your enjoyment. Various other essentials are available to get you started, such as dishwasher tablets, cleaning materials, toilet paper, kitchen towels, tea clothes, oils and spice rack.
The kitchen overlooks the open plan dining and living area through to the rear deck, with garden and waterfront views of St Georges Basin. Outside we have stylish wide boar decking, while indoors the house has light wooden floors. We have a partially covered entertainment area for the all weather entertainer, fitted with a complete stainless steel outdoor kitchen with 5 burner BBQ, side wok, 2nd fridge and large sink which you can also fill with ice to cool your drinks.
All gardens have been landscaped with native grasses and plants to attract the native birdlife so guests may enjoy being close to nature. The rear garden has a substantial viewing deck and a picnic table which will seat the entire family. The viewing deck leads to a terraced garden, which in turn leads to the reserve. The house has high standard furnishings with Italian leather sofas, day bed and chaise, handmade Australian hardwood furniture in the living areas with a slightly rustic distressed feel all made by "No Surf Furniture".
The four bedrooms and two bathrooms comfortably cater for 8 guests with an inflatable queen bed on request to sleep 10 in all. All the bedrooms have built-in wardrobes.
We had a really great time staying at Pelican View. The property is just spectacular and so close to St George Basin.

Pets are welcome, although please be aware that the property isn't fully fenced. There is plenty of room in the backyard and on the waterfront reserve for them to run around and pet friendly beaches are nearby. Please note that only one dog is permitted to stay per booking

Come down during May to June to enjoy the SeeChange festival at Jervis Bay to view the range of arts and performers which is an important milestone of the history in our festival celebrating the culture, community and environment of Jervis Bay and Basin.
What a wonderful stay in an great house in an amazing location To wake up to those views every morning was simply stunning. The house has everything you would need for a comfortable stay and our hosts even arranged some 'hopping' visitors to check in on us Watching the kangaroos so closely was incredible. A great weekend or get away treat with good space

Relaxing homely feel
I stayed at Pelican View for the weekend and felt at home straight away. The property is fully equipped with all the essentials you need and is in the perfect location, with waterfront views. Would definitely stay there again next time I'm down the coast.
