The Island Farm House is located on Comerong Island, over the ferry on a 105acre Black Angus stud.
Completed in 2012, the house offers 3 bedrooms upstairs, two with their own ensuite and one with a complete bathroom.Also upstairs is a huge lounge with a wood combustion fireplace,dining,and a more casual room with a tv and fox. Downstairs is a double bedroom and adjoining room with double bunks and another bathroom to share.All bedrooms have a queen size bed On the upper level separating the main house and the pavillion is an alfresco BBQ area. In the pavillion is another double bedroom with queen bed, a bathroom, and large recreation area with TV, fox, and bar.
The property has a 400m Shoalhaven River frontage enabling access for all manner of water sports-bring your kayaks, canoes and fishing rods.
For those that enjoy walking, the island offers numerous walking tracks through the national park or wander along the beach to Seven Mile Beach, Shoalhaven Heads or the breakwall which forms the northern head of the Crookhaven River.
Deep sea fishing can be enjoyed from boats leaving from Greenwell Point
If you enjoy bike riding it is an easy 2.5 km bike ride along Comerong Island Road to the beach.

Having crossed Berrys Canal and made your way 600m to The Island Farm House your stay can be as active or as quite and peaceful as you wish-sit around the log fire in the lounge, watch a video or fox on the big screen tv, listen to your favourite music from the ipod dock with its speaker system throughout the house, take in the ambience of the farm with its cattle grazing outside the house paddock or marvel at the stars in the beautiful night sky. However, if you want to venture out, Shoalhaven Heads is a walk along the beach to the north with its pub, club and general stores,Greenwell Point is a 10 minute drive away with its famous fish and chip shop,oysters fresh off the leases,pub,club and restaurants, and Nowra,the shopping hub,provides Coles,Woolworths,Aldi and the IGA and is a 10 minute drive. Why not prearrange a courtesy bus and head to a delightful local restaurant The Butter Factory or Greenwell point bowling club to the Chinese restaurant for lunch or dinner

A visit to Huskison on the pristine Jervis Bay with its dolphin watch is also a delight or spend some time shopping in the quaint nearby towns of Berry and Kangaroo Valley. For an enjoyable day why not hire a limo and visit the local wineries- Two Figs, Mountain Ridge, Silos and Coolangatta to name a few.Each weekend different local villages play host to a markest selling local produce and handicrafts.
