Themeda Cottage is a solar passive designed mud brick cottage set amongst rolling hills with views of bushland and regeneration plantings in an agricultural landscape. It takes its name from the local indigenous grass 'Themeda australis' (Kangaroo Grass) that is found on site and in surrounding paddocks.
Regeneration plantings have encouraged the wildlife back into the paddocks (and house yard!). You will see many native birds, kangarooos, wombats (at night), echidnas and the resident blue tongue lizard.
Themeda Cottage provides serenity in a private setting with mountain and forest views. Beaches are only 20 minutes away.
