Al Mare is a casual, comfortable and very affordable beach house - very well located just behind the Coles / Vincentia shopping centre. It is a five minute walk to beautiful Collingwood Beach, and because of its elevated position, has views to the bay from the upstairs balcony. The very funky BBQ and fire pit area at the back of the house also make this a great, unique option

"Pay for 2, stay for 3" special - this property offers the "pay for 2, stay for 3" special on weekends, "3 for 4" on long weekends, or "5 for 4" over Easter. The special can be applied to any day of arrival - if the applicable weekend rate is paid. The special does not apply in December and January.

Location - Al Mare is located very centrally in Vincentia with a local shopping centre just across the road, and Collingwood Beach only a   two    minute walk from the house. Huskisson, Hyams Beach and the beautiful Booderee National Park are also only a five    minute drive. The house is slightly elevated, and the guest accommodation is on the upstairs level - giving good bay views.

Key Features - Al Mare has a great central location,  within easy walking distance of all amenities. The house has been very well refurbished and has a great backyard and outdoor entertaining options.

Configuration - Al Mare is the upstairs level of a two storey house, but guests have use of a second shower downstairs and the back yard. Details are as follows:

The upstairs level has the three bedrooms, an open plan living - dining - kitchen, a shared bathroom, and a balcony that runs the full width of the house. Access is up a flight of stairs from the rear of the property.

The downstairs level is occupied by other guests, but no noise transmits between the two dwellings. Guests also have their own private laundry, with second toilet and shower on this level. The cushions for the BBQ area bench seats are also stored in the laundry.

Please note that the kitchen does not have a dishwasher.

Outdoors - Al Mare has a full width balcony upstairs, good lawn areas front and back, a large covered BBQ area and a fire pit for sitting under the stars around a fire The cushions for the BBQ area bench seats are also stored in the laundry. There is also a 12 seater picnic table to enjoy your BBQ's, and a swing set for the children. Overall, there are plenty of options for relaxing outside, or for dispersing the kids

Heating and Cooling - Al Mare can be opened up to catch any sea breeze, and has heaters for the cooler months.

Linen - Al Mare does not supply linen. Linen is to be supplied by tenant or to be arranged with a linen service which we can provide the contact number for. Should you choose to supply your own linen the following will be required: sheets, pillow cases, bath and beach towels, hand towels, bath mats, and face cloths.

Parking - There is off street, open air parking for up to three    cars on the driveway to the left of the house. Drive across the grass from the main driveway to access the side, concrete driveway where there is good parking on the left side of the house. The main driveway is generally used by the downstairs guests.

Pets - Al Mare is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options. 

Minimum stay - There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three   nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven  night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January. 

Peak changeover day -  Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.

Special information - Please note that the downstairs level of the property is occupied by other guests. Also note that there is no dishwasher at this beach house.

Internet / WI-Fi access  -  NBN is progressively rolling out along the South Coast of NSW.  If your  house does have internet and if the owner makes it available to guests, you may use it with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra.  Otherwise, use your smart phone only during your stay or find a local cafe or library that offers free WiFi.  If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Central location Thanks for a lovely stay, we had a great time, the Fire pit was a winner with the boys. On feed back I would say that the place presents as per the photos & is generally clean & tidy. The only negative feed back would be that some of the kitchen utensils were not left clean by previous tenants & the down stairs toilet had not been cleaned. One other thing was the smell of smoke from the tenants below, we found it to be leaking out of cracks in the wall which we plugged with Blue tack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely recommend it! We were a group of 7 and we could not have been happier with our easter weekend pick. The house was a true beach house with hand picked decoration, spacious, perfectly located, comfortable, clean, fully equipped and to top it all of: an ocean view - felt like home. Overall: Delightful. Communication was easy and quick. There was everything we needed to cook, clean and feel comfy - blankets and top quality heaters. There is an outdoor area with a fire pit where we gazed at the night sky while roasting marshmallows. It's walking distance from the local beach - great for morning strolls - and a stone's throw away for Coles, restaurants, bottle shops, cafes, etc. Definitely recommend it!
