The Magpie Haven is a north facing independent studio, part of a separate wing of our architect designed, contemporary home. We are on an acre and a half overlooking the Wingecarribee River, the village of Berrima and beyond.
Our native garden is a work in progress but is already attracting a variety of native birds. Kangaroos roam early in the morning. One of our established eucalypts is home to our friendly magpie family.
It is 1 km into Berrima where you will find cafes, restaurants, specialty shops, historical buildings and museums. We are about 4 km from the famous Berkelouw Books now part of the Bendooley Estate, with many other wineries also in the vicinity.
We live in the adjoining home and will most often be around to answer any questions and have a chat if you wish.
I am a remedial massage therapist and offer remedial, relaxation, hot stones, Bowen and reflexology treatments. It is advisable to book in advance if you wish to make your stay a “spa weekend”.
Magpie Haven has expansive views towards Berrima and beyond.
It also features a king size bed with a small sitting area, kitchenette including sink, fridge, microwave, toaster, jug and coffee maker. A sourdough loaf or other freshly home made bread and local jams will be waiting for you. There is a private bathroom with rain shower.
Magpie Retreat, a separate listing, is situated at the other end of the wing.
