Welcome to "The Woolshed" at rural estate, Woobinda Park; 227 acres of heaven in Canyonleigh

Nestled into its own private little valley, the property offers peace and quiet without a road in sight. The massive corrugated iron wool shed has been converted into high quality sleeping and living quarters providing great accommodation for groups of 10-12.

There are idyllic northerly rural views of horses and grazing cattle from both The Woolshed and its majestic wrap around verandah. Make the most of this setting with a BBQ and covered outdoor dining area on the deck or take your picnic to the shady trees below.

Inside is a cosy combustion wood fire with all wood provided which heats the space beautifully and a reverse cycle air conditioner keeping it comfortable in summer. The kitchen is brand new and includes a dishwasher.

The Woolshed is perfect for small groups of friends and families wanting to experience a rural break. It is also ideal for groups attending a wedding or celebration in the Southern Highlands. Transport to and from venues can be arranged at discounted rates.

The Woolshed itself is fenced and well behaved pets are welcome within the confines of the yard. Dogs are charged $100 per stay and must be on a lead at all times when outside of the fenced area. Kangaroos, Wombats, and other wildlife abound.

An interesting Alpaca tour can be booked for you if pre-arranged on neighbouring property for a nominal fee

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Woolshed Canyonleigh The place was absolutely beautiful (even better than the photos) and everything we needed and more was provided. Loved the little touches like the blankets in the lounge room, the magazines, the tennis rackets, bikes, electric blankets, choccies.....and so much more and the wood fire and pool table were a big hit. We also had heaps of fun going on a trip to feed the cows and seeing the amazing views of the property. We felt so at home, so refreshed and relaxed we didn't want to leave. Thank you again, we will definitely be back :)

The accommodation was excellent-comfortable, clean and well appointed.Our hosts, Greg and Deb,made great efforts to please us and were especially attentive in entertaining the children with the farming activities.We all enjoyed a very happy stay at the Woolshed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Christmas 2015 The location was quiet and peaceful on an Aussie farm (no mobile phone reception). The accommodation was spacious, well equipped, clean and homely. We had an opportunity to explore the surrounding areas and enjoyed many interesting bush walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas holiday at The Woolshed in Canyonleigh and would highly recommend it!!
