Apartment 8 at Floria is in a new modern complex in the heart of town. It is available for long or short stays and would be a good base if working in or moving to the area. Also an ideal weekender for those wanting to spend time in Bowral and make the most of boutique shopping, cafes, restaurants and art galleries - all on foot!

It boasts two sunny north facing balconies and light and airy rooms with views to Mount Gibraltar

Please note there is double glazing which helps with the road noise, however some guests report railway noise can still be heard at night which is the case with ALL properties this close to town.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautifully presented; noise an issue We stayed for 2 nights in September. It was really handy being able to pick up the keys from a locked box (we arrived in Bowral after 9pm). We were immediately impressed by the cleanliness and presentation of the apartment. It was beautifully decorated, furnished with everything we could need, and it was less than a 5 minute walk to a lovely memorial garden area in one direction, and to shops etc in the other. The downside was sleep quality, due mostly to traffic noise (we both woke up several times during the night because of train noise), but also light coming in through the blinds and bed size (admittedly my partner is over 6 feet, but I think a double bed is a tight squeeze for most couples). After reading a prior review, we'd even brought an air filter with us to block out some of the sound, but it wasn't enough. We were both tired rather than refreshed when we came home, because of the poor sleep. I know nothing can be done about the traffic noise, but a larger bed and block out curtains would help somewhat! Overall, a highly recommended place to stay if you are not noise/light sensitive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good weekender for 4 Great apartment close to shops and restaurants. All the homely things one needs. Be good to get feather pillows and traffic noise a bit annoying. Overall a good weekender.
