Elegant, charming and cosy, Golf Lodge Bowral is a perfect retreat for a couple or up to three guests.
Tucked away in a tranquil garden setting, my sun-filled apartment is adjacent to Bowral Golf Club. It's an ideal base from which to explore the picturesque Southern Highlands—from farmers’ markets, antique emporiums and quirky boutiques to beautiful vineyards, stylish cafés and acclaimed restaurants, including Bistro Officina, which is right next door, and Biota Dining, which is just across the road. Just a little further along, you'll find Bowral's main street, Corbett Gardens, home to Tulip Time, and the famous Bradman Museum.
The Southern Highlands is not only a beautiful destination year round, it's safe, as well.
But be warned: it's more cold than hot. Even in summer, the temperature can hover in single figures. The apartment is beautifully heated, but make sure you bring warm clothing.
Because it's level entry from the main door to my apartment, there are no stairs to negotiate. If you have a car, there's free, secure parking, as well. If you don't have a car, you can easily get to Bowral by train; my apartment is a ten-minute stroll from Bowral Station.
If you’re thinking of relocating to the Highlands and want to trial the area, or renovating an existing home or between properties, I offer great rates for weekly or monthly bookings.
If Golf Lodge Bowral is unavailable, my other place, Polo Cottage Bowral, might well be free. It, too, is on Stayz, so take a look.
