Description

Stay and enjoy this beautifully renovated 3 bedroom character cottage which accommodates 6 people comfortably. This late 1880's railway worker's cottage is located in one of Goulburn's heritage areas and is just minutes to cafes, restaurants, pubs, clubs and retail shops.

The Cottage has been lovingly and sympathetically restored to retain many of it's original features such as window & doors, high ceilings, fireplaces and rustic Kauri floorboards. The property has recently been renovated to introduce a modern kitchen, two bathrooms with laundry facilities and a large Alfresco area while retaining a unique private enclosed Courtyard dining area.

The cosy lounge has a modern gas log heater, 50" full HD TV, Blu-ray/DVD player and a beautiful leather lounge. We also have a large collection of movies and TV series available for you to enjoy.

The light and airy kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, large gas cooker & electric oven, dishwasher and refrigerator with chilled filtered water & ice, freezer, capsule coffee maker, kettle & toaster. Also available are plates, cutlery and pots. From the kitchen french doors open to the private courtyard.

The two main bedroom have comfortable real queen size beds and both rooms have beautiful timber wardrobes. The third bedroom has a bunk bed with two single beds. All bed linen and towels are also included.

The large main bathroom is fully tiled and has a large bath tub & a shower over the bath, white vanity & large mirror. This room is sunny and fresh. A hair dryer is also available for guest to use.

The second bathroom has a shower, toilet and a large handbasin with a bench top, the laundry facilities are included in this room and comprise of front loader and dryer in one. An iron, ironing board, clothes line with pegs are also available.

The Alfresco area is under cover and has outdoor relaxing furniture with a Weber BBQ.

Off Street parking is available for 3 cars.

NOTE: We do not accept bookings more than 4 months in advance.

At the time of enquiring please provide us with some information about yourself, details about the purpose of your trip and the people that will the staying at the house to avoid your booking request being rejected.

At the time of booking we will request that you send us a photograph of yourself showing your full face.

House Rules

The property is pet-free and smoke-free. No smoking or vaping or similar and no perts are allowed in the house or on the property.

Parties & Functions are not permitted. Disturbances to our neighbours including excessive noise is prohibited.

The garage and the back section of the property are off limits to guests.

Guests must pay for any damage or loss to the property.

The fireplace is decorative only and not to be used.

The number of guests including all adults and children staying at the property should not exceed the number of guests stated by the Guest on the booking.

Personal Liability – it is the guests’ responsibility for their own safety and welfare and owners are not liable for any harm caused to guests’ welfare while at the property.

The property should be left in a similar state to it's condition on arrival.

Cancellation Policy

For a 50 refund, cancellation must be made 7 full days prior to listing's local check in time or 3:00 PM if not specified on the day of check in, otherwise no refund.

If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance, the nights not spent are not refunded.

If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent are not refunded.

When enquiring about availability please ensure you include some information about yourself and the purpose of your stay to avoid your booking request being rejected.

Please note that ALL the people staying in the house -- adults, children and babies -- count as guests and must be included in the booking. Kids and babies aren't free. The names and ages of all guests must be provided at the time of the booking. Extra guests will attract additional charges.

Also note that our pricing already includes discounts for weekly and monthly stays and we do not offer further discounts. Please do not ask us for a quote for a booking becasue we cannot see the price Stayz calculates for you. Guest prices include foreign exchange conversions, taxes and other fees that go directly to Stayz and hosts never see these amounts.

The cottage currently does not have broadband internet. We are waiting for the NBN to arrive. Until then the cottage has great 3G and 4G wireless reception so your phones and tables will work.

For safety the property has external security cameras and 24/7 monitoring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No 10 - C'est magnifique Our stay at No 10 Mundy Street was excellent. Owners Alex and Vaughan were very accommodating, allowing us to park our veteran cars at the rear of the property whilst participating in the VCCA National Veteran Rally. The cottage is magnificent, lovingly restored, with comfortable beds, and all conveniences needed. Two bathrooms are a plus for when a group is staying. We could not fault the cottage and would recommend to any body wanting a meticulous place to stay that is handy to the centre of Goulburn. Cant wait to make a return visit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Escape This BEAUTIFUL home looks (and feels) straight out of Vogue Living. We were welcomed to a modern home with lots of character and style. We were in the area to compete at Wakefield Parkway which was right down the road. The shops and town centre were an easy walk and the house it self felt luxurious! We will definitely be back! Thanks Again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable, cosy home. Had a fabulous 4 night stay. The property is conveniently located to the CBD, 5 min walk to supermarkets. Loved the dining area and little courtyard - it was bright, sunny and inviting. Great kitchen - we chose to cook each night. Beds comfy, lovely linen and luxurious towels. It suited our group very nicely, 2nd walk in shower was a necessity. Would definitely stay again.
