Nestled on a rise above Mittagong, Geebung Cottage is often described as a peaceful paradise. Originally built as a holiday bungalow in the 1940's, the home has recently been renovated and offers ample modern comforts.
A perfect place to appreciate nature with Mt. Gibraltar Reserve on your doorstep, exploring the walking tracks and lookouts is recommended. Having worked up an appetite the cafes of Bowral are a short drive away. Sturt gallery and cafe are a 10 minute stroll down the hill.
The 2 bedroom cottage offers a queen and double bed, ideal for 1 or 2 couples, friends or family . Bed linen and towels supplied. The large north facing living room has french doors opening onto a wooden deck surrounded by private garden. In winter fire up the Nectre slow combustion wood fire for a warm and cozy atmosphere, wood supplied.
The bathroom is renovated and has underfloor heating in winter and heated towel rails.
The fully equiped kitchen looks out onto the private outdoor entertaining area, shaded in summer by a beautiful weeping plum tree. Breakfast staples such as bread, cereals and jams are provided. Use the revolving pantry for tea, oil, sugar etc.
Chill out listening to the selection of CDs, watch some DVDs, choose a book to browse, or just listen to the birdsong. The perfect place to relax and unwind.
Extra guests can be accommodated if required, there is a single bed in one of the bedrooms and a fold-down single bed can be arranged. Late checkout is possible if no back to back booking.
On occasion owner may access the rear acre block using the driveway as a walkway.
