Gib House, as the name suggests, is located on the gentle slopes of Mount Gibraltar, known to the locals as The Gib. Feel a wonderful sense of seclusion on this large block with distant views through the treetops, which is only minutes from Mittagong, Bowral and Frensham School. Native birds and animals abound and there is a complete sense of escape in this beautiful natural setting.
Once inside the house you can truly relax in comfort. The house has been styled to include items such as a contemporary teak dining table, King Furniture Sofas, Persian and sisal carpets and a vast collection of artworks. The styling is elegant, serene and creates a very relaxing vibe. Gas central heating, electric blankets, split system air conditioning and ceiling fans provide comfort all year round. Easy care, white oak flooring in the living areas is complimented by soft quality carpet in the four bedrooms. Quality beds and linen will ensure you have a good nights sleep. There are two bathrooms, one with a freestanding bath for that extra-long soak and gorgeous generously sized Sheridan towels to wrap yourself in afterwards.
The spacious north facing kitchen has spectacular views out over the garden and features a Caesarstone benchtop, high quality soft close drawers, gas cook top and Bosch oven for the discerning chef. The kitchen opens into an open plan living/dining area that is bathed in abundant natural light. The separate media room with comfortable relaxed seating leads out to the large north facing deck that has wonderful views over the garden and tree-line. The perfect place for a drink or BBQ.
Gib House is superbly located, just 2 minutes to Frensham School/Sturt Gallery, a 4-minute drive to Mittagong, and only 8 minutes across the top of the Gib to Bowral just off Oxley Drive. There are beautiful nature walks close by, Lake Alexandra for a picnic, Sturt Gallery for a coffee and of course this is the ideal base for parents and friends of Frensham. A great choice also for weekends in the country, Bowral shopping, wedding accommodation or school holidays.

There is an unfenced open pond in the garden. It is advised to use the driveway to walk to the rear entry of the house, rather than the steps in the rockface which can get slippery in the rain or frost.

This property is approved for accommodation only.No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed.The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests this includes day visitors above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay.
Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.
Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.

To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for "Schoolies" breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.
