After a sympathetic renovation it now provides a mix of yesteryear charm, original features and all your modern day comforts. High ceilings, pine floorboards, a Falcon double oven, Belfast sink with Perrin & Rowe tapware, butlers pantry, French doors, wide verandahs and an enchanting garden all take you back to days gone by and are reminiscent of a slower time, an escape from our hectic present. There is no compromise on comfort with a fully renovated kitchen, rear entertaining deck with bbq, two stunningly renovated bathrooms with underfloor heating and heated towel rails, comfortable beds with quality linen, slow combustion woodheater in the living room and hydronic heating throughout the rest of the house. Other unique additions include a piano and an all-weather outdoor bathtub with hot and cold running water. There is intentionally no privacy as the bath sits on the back deck and whilst undercover, allows you to view the moon and the night sky in total relaxation. A table tennis table in the charming original farm equipment shed completes the picture
Pets are accommodated upon request and will enjoy the large rambling garden, their very own entrance through the laundry pet flap also with internal access to the house, large spacious laundry to sleep in and a sunny deck from which to survey the goings on. For social dogs, nearby Seymour off-leash dog park is a must. Note the perimeter fencing is not completely dog-proof for small dogs.
Warrawong Cottage provides a central location for visiting all the Southern Highlands hot spots. Youll be delighted with the many things to do in the region, from birdwatching in wetlands to tasting cool climate wines, playing golf, and browsing antiques and crafts in enticing stores and galleries. Moss Vale is a charming rural town that has seen a recent re-gentrification and boasts some must-sees of its own including: The Highland Merchant, Bowerbird on Argyle, Bernies Diner, Susie Anderson Home, The Wine Mosaic and the new very popular Taphouse and much, much more.
Warrawong Cottage is ideal for holidaying families, couples attending functions or events and small groups wanting a self-contained base for their reunion or gathering.
