Beautifully decorated, newly renovated one bedroom garden apartment with pool access and off street parking, tucked away up a long driveway off the road, so it is very quiet, without the noise of traffic. Plenty of room for one or two people to enjoy the peace and quiet in a fabulous area, yet close to all the action. Some of the best beaches, restaurants and activities in Sydney are right here. Public transport just metres away and only 500m to Shopping Centre and local restaurants.
This lovely garden apartment is completely private with its own entrance. It is north facing and full of light. It's beautifully decorated, stylish and very comfortable.
The living room has shutters and a vaulted ceiling with ceiling fan. It has a very comfortable large leather lounge with a chaise. There is a flat screen tv, Foxtel, Netflix, a bluetooth Mega Boom speaker and free broadband wifi.
The large bedroom has a really good quality, comfortable, queen size bed, with 1000 thread count sheets, luxury linen and a selection of pillows for your comfort, topped off with a cozy duvet. Block out curtains ensure a great nights sleep. The room has a ceiling fan and windows which can catch the evening breeze. If you require two separate beds an extra single bed can be easily fitted in this room. There's also plenty of space to store your clothes in the drawers and the wardrobe. For the cooler months there is a heater and electric blankets.
The bathroom has a rain head and hand held shower, basin and toilet. Quality towels, hairdryer, soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided. There is lots of storage space in the cupboards.
In the living room there is a fully equipped kitchenette consisting of sink, fridge, kettle, espresso machine, toaster, sandwich press and microwave oven. There are also two island benches for preparing food. In winter there is an single induction hob and a small bench oven/grill, in summer there's the BBQ.
There is a lovely private garden area outside with comfortable lounge seating, a table and chairs, sun umbrella and a hooded 4 burner gas barbeque with extra side burner.
A tailored welcome basket for breakfast is provided when you arrive, as well as a few treats and basics to get you started.
For every guest the apartment is cleaned to a 5 star standard. All linen including pillow and mattress protectors are freshly laundered. If your stay is more than one week, a weekly room service will be provided at a time which suits you which will include cleaning and fresh linen.
Guests can access the apartment along a shared driveway. Private entrance and your own private garden. There is shared use of a beautiful solar heated pool in the main garden and a rain head outdoor shower for rinsing off after visiting the beach. There is also a laundry with washer and drier available.
The apartment is attached to a fun and friendly family home. We are respectful towards our guests with regards to noise and privacy. Our door is always open if you need anything.
We are more than happy to offer recommendations and advice on your stay in the area if you wish.
Please note we have a kitchenette, not a full kitchen. Cooking is to be done outside on the BBQ or there is a microwave, kettle and toasted sandwich maker for smaller meals. In winter months we can provide a bench oven and hotplate.
Please also note, we are located in a quiet suburb away from the heart of Manly. There is a 25 minute walk or 5 minute drive to Manly. You would book our place if you wish to have the ease of parking, proximity to transport and shops and peace and quiet at night. Therefore, we ask that you don't mark us down on location if you have other expectations and wish to be in the heart of Manly.
We provide beach towels, a beach bag, a picnic backpack and blanket for day trips out.

Our dog is a friendly mature dog, she's not a barker and can be contained in our garden if you're not a dog lover, just let us know.
Balgowlah is a quiet village suburb, very close to Manly and inner harbour beaches. Close but without the hustle bustle of Manly. We are not in the heart of Manly, so please be aware there will be a short drive, bus ride or 25 minute walk to Manly. Please do not mark us down on location because of this. You would choose this location for the peace and quiet. It is a 5 minute walk to great restaurants, cafes and Stockland Balgowlah Shopping Centre. We are 500m to the main bus stops for the city and ferry. The walks are magnificent and we are 25 minute walk to Manly via the inner harbour shoreline. 8 minutes to North Harbour Reserve, 15 minutes to Forty Baskets and 30 minutes to Clontarf Reserve. The drive to the city takes about 30 minutes and 8 minutes to Manly beach. The reason we love living here is there are so many fabulous things to do which are absolutely free; beaches, dams, playing fields, snorkelling, bike rides, bush walks to name a few. There are fantastic coastal walks just a stroll away. The restaurant and night life scene is great too, without having to go too far.
Off street parking is available. Public transport is very close, only a 3 minute walk to the bus stops. The Manly ferry is a short ride to the city takes 30 minutes or 20 minutes on the fast ferry. Taxi's and Uber are very easy to get in this area. An Uber or taxi to Manly is around $8. Uber to the city is approximately $35. The local area has a free bus 5 minutes walk to stop which operates all day every half hour, going to the beach and shops.
