We are ideally located, with a five minute walk to the harbour foreshore and the best New Years Eve fireworks watching spots. The ferry wharf is also only five minutes away. This is the best way to get to the Opera House or the Aquarium and Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour. We are also serviced by a frequent bus service which provides a 15 minute trip to the center of the city. There is no off street parking, but street parking is easy and we provide you with a visitors parking sticker for our area.
If you don't know Balmain, you are in for a surprise. Never more than a few minutes walk through narrow little streets and quaint cottages to Sydney Harbour. Foreshore parks compete with vestiges of Balmains industrial past and contrast with the full on activity of the Darling St. pubs, restaurants and shops.
On the top floor of the house is a huge bedroom with Queen size bed which opens out onto a deck with Harbour Bridge glimpses. There is a large built-in wardrobe and walls lined with books. There is also a reverse cycle airconditioner. Also on this level is a modern bathroom with shower and toilet.
The ground floor has another large bedroom with double bed off the entry hall. The hall leads into a large open plan lounge and dining area. The lounge is furnished with modern sofas and rugs on polished timber floors. The book cases on either side of the fireplace hold books and CD's as well as a Bose music system. There is also home Wi-Fi available. There is a dining table with seating for six.
The spacious kitchen has a gas cooktop, electric oven, fridge and microwave. There is a full range of cooking implements, china and cutlery. If required there is an additional fridge in the laundry. The laundry is equiped with a front loading washing machine clothes dryer and tub.
The luxurious ground floor bathroom has a full size bath, separate shower, toilet etc.
Opening out through a pair of cedar and glass doors, is a timber deck with table and chairs. There is also a Weber BBQ and an extaendable awning for those very hot days.
