Bondi Beach is safe
The apartment is in a one way quiet end residential of Hall Street, very leafy, one of the best streets in Bondi Beach and yet so close to the eateries and shops150m and the beachapprox 500m.
Take the scenic Bondi to Coogee famous coastal walkA must to do.
Only 150m to the hipster an array of fashion and bars between the apartment and the beach. Enjoy the boutiques, surf, skate park, gyms, markets and ocean pools. Bondi beach is buzzing with locals and travelers visit year-round.
You don't need a car. The locals walk everywhere.
The Bus stop 150m from the apartment on Glenayr Ave which takes you to the city, Circular Quay, Surry Hills, Paddington and Bondi Junction where you can also hop on a train if you wish. Buses also run to South Head where there are a number of amazing harbour bays, including Watsons Bay and Camp Cove. For fast bus city services, 333 & 389 on Campbell parade opposite end of Hall St, about 23 minutes bus ride will take you into the city.
Uber is popular as it's only 7kms to the city.
There is also a GoGet car nearby which you can hire online. Plus, enjoy your own private parking space.
Other things to note
Refundable deposits is 2 x current deposit for stay over 28days. This is refundable after inspection of property for damages etc.
Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time and if you need the garage as this will be need to be paid separately. If you need an early check-in or late check-out please ask us in advance. If we can, we will try and accommodate you. Otherwise, check-out is strictly 10am and check-in is 2pm-5pm face to face and if you arrive after 5, I will leave the keys in the lock box and you can let yourself in. I usually like to meet my guests so if I don't get to greet you in person on arrival, I will greet you the next morning. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.
House rules and policies
You must show a valid photo ID upon check in.
The booking guest must also be the guest staying. If you are booking for someone else, you must seek approval prior to booking.
As you can see, this is a family home in a residential area. I have poured a lot of time and love to get this home beautiful. Most of these rules are common sense and all I ask is that you treat my apartment with respect as you would your own and return as found "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
-This property has a strict strict 'No Party, No pets and No Smoking Policy'. You must not exceed the maximum number of guests listed on booking. Pet may be allowed subject to phone interview and approval with the owner of the property prior to payment otherwise its strictly NO Pets Policy. The pet must have already been house trained, it strictly can not stay on beds or sofa and there is an additional fee of $100 for the first 7 days and thereafter will be $10/day There is also a refundable deposit of $2000. Failure to comply with property policies may result in the eviction of guests and the loss of any deposits or payments made and fines imposed by the Body Corporate.
-Bedding - Bedding is restricted to 2 beds for 4 people booking. If you require the use of the sofa bed, it has to be agreed by the owner as the cleaning company will need to be informed, otherwise fees apply at $35 person/night. Only 1 Infant stays free of charge when using existing beds.
-Cleaning - see and abide by cleaning note left in apartment. PLEASE LEAVE PLACE AS FOUND.
To keep the standard cleaning cost down, we do kindly ask that prior to leaving, guests tidy up and wash dishes properly and put away any dishes or kitchenware used please note dried food scraps on dishes are NOT considered as clean” Failure to adhere to this requirement will result in an additional cleaning fee of $100 deducted from the bond. The cleaning fees charged by our cleaners are to clean and launder sheets, towels and general clean only and restock the apartment after each guest stay. It is not to clean excess mess. If you dirty the floor or wall, please clean it immediately.
We ask that you put away any dirty towels in the laundry on completion of stay. The cost of replacing any bed linen or towels that are permanently soiled by guests cannot be removed via washing will be borne by the guest deducted from the bond. Please DO NOT use sheets or towels to remove body oil & makeup as the stain causes a permanent mark on sheets/towels and cannot be removed by washing.
We will charge you if we can't remove them by washing. Each towel/sheet is $40.
If you spill anything on the floor, please wipe it immediately as you would with your own place to avoid damaging the laminate.
Caesar stone bench tops
Caesar stone is porous and that means it’s easily stained. Please wipe the bench top immediately after each use and avoid placing red wine, coffee, tea, curry, soft drinks or any coloured liquid/substance directly on the Caesar stone bench tops as it will stain the stone if left unattended. Please use coasters or place mats provided.
Also, all rubbish is to be removed from inside the property at the end of the booking, in the rubbish area. Redgeneral, Bluepaper and Yellowplastic & glass lid bins. The rubbish area is located to the back of the driveway. Failure to adhere to this requirement will result in a rubbish removal fee of $200 deducted from the bond. Any additional cleaning not adhered to on the cleaning sheet provided will be deducted from your security bond.
Only toilet paper to be used in toilet. NO tampons, pads, paper towels, tissues as this will cause the toilet to block. If you block the toilet, you will be charged for the plumbing.
Keys-Please leave keys in lockbox upon departure and change the number and close the box. This is a security building and if the security key is lost, can be quite costly. Sorry about that. The replacement is $200. Other keys are $10. If guests lock themselves out of the property, a $80 call out fee will apply as I live over an hour each way. Please safe guard those keys.
Electricity- To keep our costs down, we ask that you switch off lights, when they're not in use or leaving the house
