Quiet and safe
Being one block away from Abercrombie street, the house is away from the constant stream of students making their way to the University. Just follow the crowd and then peel away 50 metres down Ivy lane and you are home.
There are lots of people walking about so it is a very safe place. Most are going to the Seymour centre, the University or to the Victoria park so there are people walking by at all times of the day and night. However not much traffic comes past because it is limited thru access with no direct vehicle access to Abercrombie street.
Like any big city however it is important to be security conscious. Edward street is a beautiful street with lots of Victorian Terrace houses the suburb is heritage listed and the street is lined with paperbark trees. The roof top deck is a great place to sit and read on a sunny day.
