In the heart of Guildford village stands Thorneycroft Lodge. Built in 1880 this historic colonial home stands proudly alongside pretty character cottages that adorn Guildford and Ethel Street. Having just undergone a renovation Thorneycroft Lodge offers modern day functionality and aesthetics whilst still retaining her beautiful original features comprising soaring pressed tin ceilings, large front veranda and original working fireplaces.

Thorneycroft Lodge offers three very spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms. With quality furnishings and linens provided Thorneycroft Lodge caters for the discerning traveller looking for luxurious yet comfortable surroundings. Multiple outdoor spaces provide excellent entertaining options to enjoy the beautiful weather of Perth. With room to park up to 4 vehicles, or a boat or caravan the home provides for a variety of our guests needs.

The Location: a 7 minute drive from Perth’s domestic terminal is an excellent factor, providing for quick and easy access to the property. The international terminal being only a little longer.

With numerous cafes and restaurants along bustling James Street being a mere 2 mins stroll from the property you will be spoilt for choice of eateries, day and night. Not to mention the ease of not having to drive, making a pleasant night out for all. The recently refurbished Guildford Hotel is a 3 minute stroll along James Street and is a very stylish new age pub offering excellent meals and a large beer garden for those sunny afternoons; with an interesting past the Guildford hotel was ravaged by fire and left in ruins for 10 years up until 2.5 years ago when she was bought back to life, with her character sensitively retained in the renovation being testament to this.

The Rose and Crown hotel is a 10min stroll from the home and is Perth’s oldest hotel, beautifully appointed and restored this hotel is certainly worth enjoying a casual lunch or intimate dinner with friends.

The Swan Valley wine trail region begins from Guildford village and from here you have a plethora of world class wineries on your doorstep.
