Description

In undoubtedly one of the most beautiful seaside streets in Manly, lined with majestic Norfolk pine trees is this charming Edwardian, spacious 2 bedroom home complete with renovated kitchen, bathroom and alfresco dining that is only a short 3 min walk to Manly beach. Ideal for 2 couples or a family.

The Space:

You enter the house via the security front gate with absolute privacy and you have an outdoor area for eating complete with BBQ. There is an outdoor shower to rinse yourself off after a day in the surf. You also have the use of two surf-skis if you so desire.

Walk inside and at the front of the house you have a large renovated eat-in kitchen complete with stone benchtops, four burner gas cooktop, oven, microwave, coffee-maker, dishwasher and family size fridge. There is even a TV to keep the ‘chef’ company.

Down the long passageway, there are two separate bedrooms both with queen-size beds, TV and a large fully renovated bathroom with full-length bath as well as a large separate double shower. At the end of the hallway, there is a large family size living area complete with large flat screen TV and all of this is in an extremely peaceful location within a short walk to all the action of Manly.

Parking: We'll provide you with one free parking permit to allow you to park in the street for free. Please note that a $350 charge will incur if the parking permit is lost, stolen or damaged.

Beach essentials: we have all the beach essentials including beach towels, toys for kids, surfboards etc. Inquire before your arrival about the surfboards so that we can prepare them for you before you arrive.

The Neighborhood:

You are spoilt for choice with restaurants and bars spotted along the foreshore at Manly but a favorite of mine is The Herring Room at 94 Pittwater Rd. Manly. Another great Japanese is Sunset Sabi and Wakka on Pittwater Rd.

The closest Market is on the corner of Pittwater and Balgowlah Rd….if you turn left at the entrance to Aitken Ave. just walk across the bridge to the large roundabout. Harris Farm is situated just across the intersection and has some of the best produce around. There is also a fresh food market on the foreshore on Friday mornings if you feel like trying local produce….

There is also a café and great fish shop right near Harris Farm.

Manly is a beach-side suburb in northern Sydney and is most notable for its beaches which are very popular tourist destinations. Manly features a long stretch of sand on the ocean side, that runs from Queenscliff through North Steyne to South Steyne . This is followed by rock pools and sandy beaches called Fairy Bower and Shelly Beach where the famous Shelley Beach Boathouse is located. There are also a number of beaches on the harbour side of the peninsula. Norfolk Island pine trees are symbolic of Manly and are a prominent feature of both the ocean and harbour beaches.

Transport services to Manly include a ferry service from Circular Quay to Manly wharf, and State Transit bus services from the city.. The Manly Ferry journey takes 30 minutes and allows for scenic views of Sydney Harbour, surrounding national parks and Sydney icons including the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

A privately owned and operated Manly Fast Ferry operates between Manly and Circular Quay and takes about 15-20 minutes into the centre of the city.

Buses also operate to and from the city as well as within the area.

An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.

A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.

Please note that this property has been specifically catered for short-term rentals and is not a hotel.
