The dryer is located under the house near clothes line. Washing machine is in the kitchen.
The apartment is on the ground floor of a two apartment duplex.
Access to the house is completely seperate fir this apartment as upstairs apartment has own seperate entry.
For those with a disability/mobility issues there is one small step up to the front verandah and another small step up once inside the entry hall. There are another two steps inside the house from the kitchen up to slightly elevated dining/sun room.
Buses travel constantly up and down nearby Sydney and Pittwater Roads to all surrounding areas and the city.
Manly Wharf is in walking distance to catch a boat into the city.
I walk from the apartment to everywhere in Manly. However, If you need a car there is an off street space for a small to medium size car secured behind a gate. For a larger or 2nd car there are two resident parking permit for free unrestricted street parking. For those who find walking up a hill to the apartment from Manly difficult there are frequent bus services which stop on the flat nearby and a taxi rank at the bottom or the hill which cost about $7.
Manly is a fabulous lively city village. The apartment is up on a hill in a residential area, slightly removed from the village centre. This provides cool sea breezes in summer and easy access to all attractions without the noise and crowds.
Famous Manly surf beach or still water Shelly Beach good for snorkelling or scuba diving are in walking distance. Harbour beaches with no waves are also great for young families.
Sydney Harbour and numerous interesting and picturesque walks are also in the neighbourhood. It is just a beautiful Manly Ferry or JetCat boat trip to the CBD or Opera House, or if you prefer you can take one of the frequent buses to the city.
