When entering the house you are greeted by the largeness of the living area, surprising as it is a Victorian Terrace once upon a time this would have been 2 rooms. The front room has a leather lounge suite, large smart TV, coffee table and occasional tables with Lamps to read under.
Walking through the lounge area takes you into the reading/writing room, there is a table with 2 chairs and a floor lamp. Free Wifi. There is a gas heater which heats up a vast portion of the house.
The terrace comprises of 3 bedrooms, main front bedroom with a queen size bed. Second room with 2 king single beds. The rear bedroom on the top floor has a double bed. The second and third bedrooms have water views across to Balmain and Darling Harbour. All bedrooms and the main bathroom are on the top floor. The bathroom has a bath with a shower overhead, toilet and vanity basin.
The stairs are typical of a Victorian Terrace, the usual steep climb certainly not suitable for those who are less mobile.
Prior to entering the kitchen from the reading/writing room, the second toilet is found on the right. The internal laundry on the left.
Walking into the kitchen you are instantly mesmerized by the water views, especially when a cruise ship is sailing by, magnificent to watch The dining area has french doors which open onto the courtyard. Pleasant spot to relax and sip a wine.
This is an ideal house for families, friends and business colleagues. There are historic pubs within a few minutes walk, cafes and restaurants. The financial district of Sydney is nearby and the harbour Bridge is only a 5 minute walk away.
There are heaters upstairs, air conditioning is coming for summer.
