Modern one bedroom unit with gorgeous lake views over Narrabeen.
This lovely, large, 1 bedroom lakeside apartment is at Narrabeen on Sydney's beautiful northern beaches peninsula. The apartment overlooks Narrabeen Lake and Narrabeen beach, which is just 400m down the road. There is public transport Buses 2 minutes walk away, while Narrabeen shops are just 5-10min walk away. There are several cafes, and restaurants here with quite a variety on the menu. There are other shops including a supermarket, pharmacy, newsagent/post office, bakery and beauty spa - among others.
There are reserves and parks along the foreshore of Lake Narrabeen, with a circuit track for bikes and pedestrians, and markets on the weekend. You can take a leisurely stroll along the lake and admire the wildlife and serenity, or rent a boat and paddle to freedom. It's a very relaxing and quiet area, but you can always just stay in and have a barbeque on your balcony
The apartment has one good sized bedroom with a queen bed, built in wardrobe and ceiling fan. The kitchen is spacious with an oven, microwave and fridge. Off the kitchen is a laundry area with a washing machine and clothes line available. The lounge room includes a large TV, DVD player, iPod docking station and stereo, and opens onto a balcony with a barbeque and seating, and of course a beautiful view over the lake.
Down the road 10mins walk is the Narrabeen Sands Hotel, which has a great menu and a cold beer or two. If the lake isn't your style, you can walk along the beach or beachfront paths. If you walk south, in 15-20 mins you'll get to Collaroy, with it's own set of shops, eateries and entertainment. There you can find Collaroy Cinema, Collaroy Tennis Club, Long Reef Golf Course and the Long Reef Cricket Ground.
A large shopping centre is a 20min bus ride away Westfields Shopping Centre, Brookvale also known as Warringah Mall.If you're more interested in the City part of Sydney, it's about an hour away by bus, with a regular schedule to get you there and back, though services are fewer after midnight. This is a great way to experience the best of Sydney's beachside suburbia, enjoy all that the city has to offer, and return with minimum hassle and maximum enjoyment.
If the hustle and bustle of Sydney isn't your thing, catch a bus down to Manly instead. Here you can find large entertainment venues, live music, all the cuisine you can imagine, premium shopping and yet another stunning beach. Manly is lively at any hour, and you won't struggle to find something interesting.
At the apartment is a folder with tips for the area, bus timetables and other information that you may find useful. If you have any questions or concerns, just ask and I'll be happy to assist.
