Fancy a fabulous waterfront cottage for a holiday with absolute privacy and access by boat only? Then Turtle Run is the retreat for you.
This is a sanctuary that truly embraces the layback lifestyle of the northern beaches of Sydney.
OK- not all waterfronts are waterfront. Turtle Run truly is waterfront - no streets, parks or car parks in front - we are on the water.
We have our own pontoon- perfect for fishing or tying 'ya tinny to,
This waterfront 3 bedroom, 2 level cottage is nestled in the hillside forest at the edge of the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park overlooking Pittwater Harbour at Church Point, McCarr’s Creek in northern Sydney. Yet incredibly, it is situated only 40 minutes from Sydney’s CBD and 15 minutes from the best beaches in the world.
The area has survived the onslaught of development with many surrounding home owners retaining the original 1950’s holiday shack charm.
For a quiet weekend, lazy breakfast by the front waterside deck and for the energetic, extensive waterways and memorable bush walks to ancient aboriginal carvings, waterfalls, rock pools , other beaches or other western foreshore communities.
If you are into wildlife, at least 4 species of parrots and kookaburras, wallabies, possums, brush turkeys, bandicoots, lyre birds, water dragons and other reptiles.
