Pittwater YHA, originally a family home of the 1920s, is an ideal place for families, functions and friends. We are located north of Sydney city within the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and overlooking Morning Bay on Pittwater’s western shore.

The hostel is part of the surrounding off-shore community and is accessible via water taxi or ferry only, followed by an uphill walk. It is a 30 km drive from central Sydney to Church Point, followed by a ferry or water taxi from Church Point to Halls Wharf. It is then 10 minutes' walk from Halls Wharf via a bush track up. Other arrival options include walking in or mountain bike access through the National Park.

The hostel is a retreat away from roads and cars and the hectic pace of the city. The hostel is a popular venue for groups, previous groups have included family get-togethers, birthday and other celebrations, environmental workshops, artist’s workshops, corporate functions, school and university study retreats.

Have the whole property to yourself by renting out the property exclusively. The YHA sleeps up to 32 people. There are 8 bedrooms: twin/double, 4-bed rooms and 6-bed rooms, the veranda has spectacular views over Pittwater, we have a cosy lounge and the large kitchen is very well equipped for cooking homely meals.
