Description

This two-storey, 90m2, fully renovated, townhouse style apartment is ideally located for those wanting to take in the sights, sounds and flavours of Sydney. When entering this security apartment you will be impressed by the spacious feel and spectacular views of the Bridge, Opera House, Finger Wharf and complete City Skyline.

At entrance level is the lounge area with quality leather lounges and modern stylish decor. This opens on a generous size balcony - perfect for alfresco dining or to just sit and relax after a day’s sight-seeing while watching the sun set behind the CBD, Bridge and Opera House. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area is also on this level.

Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms each with queen size beds, and built-in robes. There are two newly renovated bathrooms, one with a generous size bath. Separate laundry facilities.

There is reverse cycle air-conditioning but the design of the apartment is such that natural cross-ventilation is often easier and just as comfortable.

This is '4 star hotel' quality accommodation with the added comfort and convenience of full kitchen facilities and lounge. Optional security car parking is also available.

WHAT'S CLOSE?

Sydney's major tourist destinations are within easy walking distance:

The Opera House, CBD shops and theatres, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay and The Rocks are all within 30 minutes walk or 6 minutes by taxi.

The Botanic Gardens, Art Gallery, Oxford Street / Taylor's Square are 10-15 minutes walk.

Lifestyle amenities - train station, supermarkets, King Cross nightlife and dozens of quality restaurants are within a 5 minutes walk.

Double Bay, Paddington, Darlinghurst, Surry Hills are only 6 minutes by taxi. Bondi Beach is 12 minutes by taxi.

FOOD SHOPPING

There are very good supermarkets nearby - 300m to Harris Farm gourmet fruit & veg; 400m to Woolworths; 500m to Coles these latter two are Australia's largest supermarket chains.

On Saturdays 8am to 2pm there is an Open Organic Food Market held at Fitzroy Gardens which is 350m away.

TRANSPORT

The nearest train station about a 5 minute walk away is Kings Cross Station.

Kings Cross is not an officially designated suburb of Sydney, but rather a locality encompassed within the suburb of Potts Point and known for its nightlife

It is on the ‘Eastern Suburbs Line” which runs as follows:

• Central the primary inter-change - all trains pass through this station;

• Town Hall effectively the centre of Sydney CBD

• Martin Place the up-market,business and financial centre

• Kings Cross at the centre of Potts Point

• Edgecliff closest to the up-market Eastern suburbs of Double Bay and Woollahra

• Bondi Junction location of Sydney’s largest Westfield shopping centre and short bus trip to Bondi Beach

Travel time is about 4 minutes between each station.

TAXIS run frequently along Victoria Street and are easy to hail down. We’d be surprised if you had to wait longer than 5 minutes for one.

SECURITY

Is the place safe? The apartment complex is very secure. There is CCTV coverage at all entrances. To enter the apartment there is an initial security gate, then once inside the complex one walks across a courtyard to another security door to get into a group of 8 apartments, then one goes up a flight of stairs to the apartment which has its own deadlock. Outside the apartment complex Potts Point has a vibrant village atmosphere with tree lined streets and outdoor cafes.

CLEANING

A maid for cleaning? Cleaning during your stay is not included in the price. There are laundry facilities within the apartment as well as professional laundry and dry cleaning services adjacent the apartment complex on Victoria Street. For those booking longer stays we can provide the details of a domestic cleaning service if required.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great property & location this apartment was very comfortable, it had everything you would need, a very private quiet location in the heart of Potts Point, I would recommend this apartment if you looking for a private comfortable stay in Sydney, the station is a 5 mins walk away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The apartment was perfect for a holiday in Sydney for 2 couples - we really enjoyed the beautiful view of the Sydney from the balcony and we were nice and close to the CBD and main tourist attractions, as well as some great restaurants in Potts Point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great property in a fab location with views of all of the important stuff in Sydney! Didn't hear a peep from any of the neighbouring apartments. Loved that there were basic provisions in the cupboard that we could use (butter, tom sauce, olive oil etc), not to mention a cold beer and mineral water that we consumed on arrival! (Tim, we replaced these!) No hassles with check in / check out. Easy peasy. I would definitely stay here again. Perfect pad for a long weekend in Sydney with my partner, toddler and mum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband and I stayed here and absolutely loved it. There was no clutter but had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and well air-conditioned. The views were simply amazing! We were able to view Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House from the luxury of our own balcony. Furthermore, just a 2min walk away was any number of trendy little restaurants. Highly recommend this one! Sarah
