Abbotsford is a suburb in the Inner West of Sydney. Abbotsford sits on the water between Abbotsford Bay and Hen and Chicken Bay, on the Parramatta River. Enjoy harbour walks, bike rides and the huge number of parks on offer A short stroll will find you in the small suburb of Wareemba which comes from an Aboriginal word meaning "place where sweet water meets salt water". Here you will find the local supermarkets IGA, wonderful cafes, boutique shopping, bottle shops, delis, pharmacies and doctors.
It takes only a 1 min walk to CBD bus stop. The house is only a 15min bus trip on the 504 into Sydney CBD. This is a regular bus route. It is fun to also catch a ferry into Circular Quay or Darling Harbour from either Chiswick or Abbotsford Wharves.
