It’s located in an unbeatably convenient part of Surry Hills, close to restaurants, cafes, shops, Belvoir St Theatre, and public transport. It’s an easy stroll to Oxford street or Central train station, and it’s only 25 minutes walk to Sydney’s CBD Downtown.
Enter the property via a quaint off-street patio, then walk through the glossy red front door into a short hallway which leads to a large open plan living/dining area. There’s a comfy L-shaped sofa, glass coffee table, wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and a round dining table which will accommodate 4-6 people. This dining area has both a ceiling fan and wall-mounted air con unit. The open plan area has a huge picture window overlooking the lap pool.
Back in the hallway, you’ll find a freshly painted powder room with toilet to the left or continue on to a galley-style kitchen, fully equipped with family-sized fridge, big oven, 5-burner gas cooktop, Miele dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and lots of bench top space. The kitchen also features a long picture window overlooking the lap pool and flows through to sunroom area with built-in seating and a few stairs leading out to the backyard and pool area. The pool itself has a thick glass safety fence and gate.
On the first floor, you’ll find 2 bedrooms, both with queen sized beds and one with its own private terrace. There’s also a European-style laundry room with Miele washing machine and dryer, and a spacious bathroom with a deep, full-sized bathtub and separate shower recess.
The second floor has a desk/study nook, its own queen-sized bed, as well as a sofa which folds out to a double bed, bringing the total sleeping capacity of the house to 8 people.
The house is unbeatable for its convenient location, given it’s just a minute’s walk to the buzzy restaurants, cafes, shops and bars that Crown Street in Surry Hills is renowned for. It’s also just short walk to Oxford Street and Sydney’s CBD Downtown.
The immediate area is well serviced by buses, and it’s only a 10 minute walk to Central Train Station or a 25 minute walk to Sydney’s City CBD. The airport is just a 20 minute Uber or taxi ride away.
Other things to note:
Extra $40/night will be charged for guests after 6 or if the sofa bed needs to be prepared.
An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.
