A 15 minute walk to the heart of Sydney via Darling Harbour, City Lights Terrace offers a unique Sydney stay experience. The building was constructed in the 1800's, to house workers employed in the many wool storage buildings in Ultimo and Sydney's Rocks areas. The house is compact, in keeping with its humble beginnings and has the feel of original Sydney town. It has been fully renovated and newly furnished to provide a modern, comfortable home away from home holiday experience.
The terrace has 3 bedrooms and will sleep 6 people plus an infant. It is fully air conditioned. The 3 bedrooms consist of 2 upstairs bedrooms - one with a toilet/wash basin, whilst the downstairs bedroom has a double bunk bed - 2 Singles. Both upstairs bedrooms have Queen size beds. Good quality linen, all bedding and towels are provided. A highchair, cot, bedding, and 2 toddler gates are available by arrangement. There is also a toilet/bathroom on the ground floor.
The stair case is quite steep, typical of a terrace house.
Other features are a private courtyard with a leafy canopy overhead, with an outdoor table setting for 6. Please note there is no BBQ. Double glazed windows have been installed in the front rooms to ensure the house is a quiet retreat for our guests. Attractive polished timber floors and a skylight in the new, fully equipped kitchen. A comfortable, cosy lounge with an LCD TV and home entertainment system. Wireless internet is provided free of charge.
The kitchen has a table setting for 4 and a 2nd table may be added to comfortably seat 6 people. There is no separate dining room. We have provided books, board games, and a selection of over 40 DVD's for relaxing after a day exploring Sydney.
