Description

More like a private beach house - this first floor, bright and sunny North facing apartment opens up onto a wrap around balcony that overlooks the leafy suburb of Watson's Bay with a view across Sydney harbour.

An open plan kitchen and dining area flow into a comfortable lounge

with direct access onto a private balcony with room for outdoor dining.

Two generous light filled bedrooms with a King, and Queen size beds.

The King can be reconfigured into two singles beds if travelling with kids or friends.

Guest have the entire upstairs apartment at their disposal, with their own access.

We are always on hand to help with any questions you may have.

Ferrys run in and out of Watsons Bay to central Sydney and Circular Quay, and there is also a direct ferry to Manly and Tarango Zoo as well.

The 324 and 325 Buses run frequently and bus stops are close by.

The best of both worlds - Spectacular Bondi Beach is only a 10 minute drive away.

Parking is never an issue in this area.

Great place to stay if you're attending a wedding at historic Dunbar House a shot walk or beautiful Vaucluse House 5 minute drive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Apartment This lovely little apartment suited our family perfectly, with its relaxed coastal vibe and quiet, leafy neighbourhood. Within easy walking distance of ferry and bus stops, Gibson's Beach foreshore, Watson's Bay dining options, and a short drive to Vaucluse shops, all bases were covered. Not to mention our friendly host, who was welcoming and friendly, and thoughtfully provided bread, milk, coffee and eggs for our Day 1 breakfast. Thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A gem of a beach holiday location! If you are looking for a beach holiday on a quiet yet stunningly attractive stretch of the inner shore of Sydney Harbour, the location of this property will be hard to beat. We stayed here for nearly three weeks and never tired of the beauty and variety of this area of Sydney Harbour. Yes it's a bit remote from the central city and yes it's a bit of an effort to shop for provisions - you'll need a car or you'll need to be prepared to use the local buses - but the location of this property is well worth it. These local beaches are situated within the inner harbour, so not surfing beaches but rather a string of peaceful coves each with easy swimming and, of course, those iconic views of the Sydney skyline. For the beaches, we walked everywhere....very easy to do. For supermarket shopping we used the local buses to either Rose Bay or Double Bay which was also very easy to do as long as you have your Sydney Opal Card, which is well worth researching before you go. The booking process was very straightforward with very prompt communication with Paul, the Owner, at all times. We found Paul and his family, who live in the apartment below, very easy-going and quiet neighbours....and that was typical of the neighbourhood generally - very nice surroundings and we never experienced any noise or disturbance. The apartment itself was quite large with plenty of space and a very pleasant outside balcony which captured the sun throughout the day. We did find the kitchen and bathroom facilities a little basic and outdated but we quickly got used to that and got on with enjoying our stay there. It's a long bus ride or a ferry ride into the city, but we didn't mind that and, anyway, had planned in a few days staying bang in the centre of Sydney at the end of the beach part of our holiday before flying home. Sydney is as much of a beach holiday as it is great city holiday destination.....combine them both with a stay in Paul's apartment and you won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value, great location. This is a peaceful spot, short stroll to the water with some great places to eat. The ferries to the city are regular, and Uber services the area too which works out roughly the same as the ferry if there are more than two people.
