Red Hill adjoins the CBD. It really does take just 2 minutes to drive to the City centre.
The house is opposite the bustling Kelvin Grove urban village, which is home to Queensland University Technology (QUT), supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and nightlife. On Saturday mornings there is the vibrant Blamey Street market.
The village has a theater (La Boite) and an indoor swimming pool.
Southbank and the Performing Arts/Cultural areas is just a 5 minute drive. Or take a bus that's just on the main road.
The area has parks and bushland. There is the grassed areas of the urban village and the nearby Victoria Park Golf Course (500m from house).
For the kids there is a small park and playground at the village and an indoor playground on Newmarket Rd.
Need to shop?? Loads of choice! Local shops are 1/2 km up the road for all everyday needs, including a supermarket and take away food shops. Westfield Chermside and Westfield Brookside are both around 15 minutes drive away, with major department stores and all the specialty shops you could want.
