The award winning, architect designed Lodge is sited on a high ridge with stunning views of the city and Brookfield valley. The four luxurious suites are individually furnished in the Biedermeier style with exquisite French and English fabrics. The bathrooms are sleek and modern. Each of the suites is named after a prominent Australian artist with Australian art being a feature of the Lodge.
Each of the suites open onto a wide and protected verandah with extensive views to Mt Coot- tha and over the rural Brookfield valley. The Lodge is rather like a bird sanctuary with rainbow lorikeets, king parrots, cockatoos and kookaburras a daily feature at feeding time.
The use of outdoor verandah rooms is a feature of this contemporary country lodge designed by the award winning architect, Mr Bud Brannigan. The Lodge itself was the recipient of an architectural award.
The native gardens include a resort style saltwater pool. A lovely ridge walk is adjacent to the property.
