Breakfast is an extravagant experience, served on the dining deck at separate tables overlooking the pool and Moreton Bay. A 3 course la carte gourmet affair, we use the best of locally available produce, including fruit and vegetables from our own organic orchard and gardens.
A guest's entertaining deck and BBQ is adjacent to the 12 metre swimming pool. Here, you may prepare your own lunch or dinner at your leisure, or just lie back and enjoy the pool area.
At the end of the day you may wish to enjoy drinks from our selected range of wines/beer at our "Sundowner Bar" while you relax watch the sunset and decide where you will dine for the evening.

Macleay Island is the yet undiscovered gem of the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, located off Brisbane. It has sheltered, cove like, tidal sandy beaches. No Surf. Biking, canoeing, sailing, boating, fishing, or swimming and walking are all popular activities. The Island is 6.5kms long and a kilometre wide.
Enjoy the spectacular maritime scenery from the friendly Lawn Bowls Club, or, play on the picturesque and friendly 9 hole Golf course. Both clubs, so very reasonably priced welcome guests and both have very good Bistro restaurants, entertainment on Saturday and Friday nights respectively, and, courtesy buses. Our Tingira Boat club has sailing on Sundays and welcomes guests on Friday nights too. Other eating options are The Blue Parrott Cafe, a fish and chip eatery and 'Your Place' Deli Cafe - the last two located 5 mins walk around the corner from Yarrandabbi Dreaming's Curlew Cove Holiday Home. An excellent Mammas Pizzaria also does salads and deliveries - we love their Pizzas
Two Supermarkets, a bakery, butchery, chemist, dentist, Doctors, ambulance, Fire and SES services, Real Estate and Post Office, Library, Yoga, TaiChi classes Craft groups and an excellent artists and writers community Art Gallery and Pottery place are here on Macleay Island. A Lions Club and many organizations service this friendly and supportive community of around 2,200 people.
Macleay Island is a safe and relatively crime free community - the way things were 30 years ago. Children 'free range' under an umbrella of community caring. Doors are more often left unlocked. Our insurances are the cheapest in the region. We have left the world's problems behind us
