Welcome to my three-bedroom cottage home located in the charming seaside precinct of West Manly, Brisbane. Our place sleeps five guests, and is fitted with an open living room, kitchen, one bathroom, a powder room, a gorgeous outdoor alfresco, large backyard, and residential parking. You’re in a lovely area that’s booming with plenty of entertainment, dining and shopping options, and are only 30 minutes away from Brisbane’s CBD.
My beautifully styled cottage will perfectly accommodate your needs whilst on your getaway. Getting around from my place will be made easy, given that you’re within close proximity of Manly train station, and are nearby numerous bus stops along Preston Road. There are local shopping centres at Mayfair Village or Wynnum central where you will find supermarkets, coffee shops, bakeries and other speciality shops. Take a 30 minute drive to Brisbane City, where you’ll be able to discover the range of boutique stores, food and drink hubs, galleries, and lovely parks.
As you enter my home you are met with my open living room. The leather couch adorned in pillows will perfectly accommodate you when you wish to rest and watch some television on the LCD TV. Netflix will be available for you, and if you'd like to use it, be sure to contact me regarding the password to access it. The armchairs encourage additional guests to take a seat. Enjoy a coffee amongst company in this communal area, and make sure to make use of all of the coffee tables.
Moving to my vintage styled kitchen, you’ll have access to a range of appliances including a refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, oven and quality sink. You have more than enough storage space here, so feel free to stock up the cupboards with all your grocery shopping. The kitchen is the perfect little area for whipping up your favourite dishes. Have your breakfast sorted with a classic smashed avocado on toast and poached eggs as well as a hot cup of coffee to compliment the meal. For some local fish and chips, there are many places to choose from including Barramundi Boys, Cooper’s fish and chips or the Fish Cafe.
If you’re planning on dining in, take your meals to the dining table, which will comfortably seat all guests. All cutlery and dining ware is provided for you within the kitchen cupboards. When not being used to eat all those delicious meals, the table can also double as a workspace which you may utilise using my high speed unlimited free WIFI. If you’re wanting to take your meals and company outside, the outdoor alfresco is the perfect place to do so. The large deck has a dining table as well as chairs and a lounge. If you’re feeling energetic and motivated, feel free to get a mini workout session done in the backyard which is extremely spacious. Set out your exercise mat and get crunching
After a long day of eating, shopping and exploring, I’m sure you’re probably feeling very tired. You have three fully furnished and generous sized bedrooms to choose from. The first bedroom is extremely spacious, and fitted with a queen bed. This room contains adorable antique furniture and two cute windows adorned with curtains. The second bedroom fitted with a double bed is beach inspired, with thanks to the soft blue touches. You’ll have access to a wide range of books to read as well. If you’re looking to read before you take a snooze, be sure to utilise the bedside lamps. Finally, the third bedroom is fitted with a vintage single bed. This room is white themed, and ever-so graceful. All beds are fitted with high quality linen, which is professionally cleaned every stay and is replaced regularly.
My house has one large sized bathroom. The bathroom features a glass-door shower, quality fish-bowl sink, cupboards and toilet. There are also fluffy towels provided for you.
Within my laundry, I also have a powder room. Featuring a washer and iron facilities, you’ll be able to wash away at your convenience. I have provided laundry detergent for you to use. Feel free to hang your clothes on the clothing line in the backyard.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILST THERE IS A SPA IN THE BACKYARD IT IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR USE. THE WATER HAS BEEN DRAINED.
Guests have access to the entire home – you are booking the ‘entire place’ which means you can make yourself at home throughout. A set of keys will be provided to the doors, allowing you to come and go as you please throughout your stay, 24 hours a day.
I am local to the area so am just a phone call away if you need anything during your stay.
Other things to note
There is to be no smoking in my property - any evidence of smoking will result in a $150 fine. If you do lose keys to my property, you will be charged $250. If you do not check out on time, you will be charged $100. This will require keys to be placed back where you collected them before the check out time. I appreciate your understanding in advance.
