Fully self contained modern 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in a quiet street with it's own access, deck, lounge, kitchenette, fridge freezer etc.
Morningside is a great area with restaurants, bars & Bulimba cafe strip close by. Brisbane CBD is easy to get to by bus, train or ferry each takes about 20 min.
Parking is available in front of the house.
The apartment is recently re-fitted and is very modern clean and tidy. It has everything for longer term stays if you have relatives visiting from overseas or are re-locating to Brisbane, short stays are also very welcome.
The space comfortably fits 4 people, an additional mattress or foldout bed will fit in bedroom 1 for an additional person or to allow a small child to sleep with mum & dad. If more privacy is required for an adult or older child the additional bed can be put up in the utility room which is adjacent to the 2nd bathroom.
A portacot, high chair and stroller available for anyone who has a small child.
Bedroom 1 is large and has a double bed a conventional en-suite, a TV with DVD player, reverse cycle air conditioner, wardrobe and a desk.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed, TV , wardrobe and a desk.
The main living area opens out onto the deck and beautiful and cool in summer, it includes a small kitchenette with a microwave and induction cook top. A plug in oven is also provided, together with a toaster kettle etc.
The deck is very large and includes a gas bbq, it has a great leafy outlook onto the back garden.
The apartment is on the lower floor of our main home and is very quiet and secluded.
The apartment has it's own access down the side of the house directly into the guest accommodation. Street parking is plentiful as it's a quiet residential street.
There is a laundry in the unit with an iron and ironing board.
Free wifi internet is available.
Pet friendly. We have a dog ourselves and she lives on the property with us and is very friendly and used to different dogs staying with us.
The extent of interaction is up to the guests, we love meeting people and getting to know them. Happy to explain everything about the accommodation and area. The guest area is separate to our main home, so privacy can be assured. We are happy to answer any questions you have at any time during your stay, just come up and say hi or pop in for a drink and a chat.
Morningside is a nice safe residential area and has it's own shopping strip with a restaurants and fast food outlets, some very good Indian restaurants this is within walking distance. There is also a pub and a couple of bars. Bulimba is close by and is a lively area famous for it's multitude of bars and restaurants. Bulimba is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minutes in a car.
Getting to the city is easy. There is a bus stop close by and it takes about 20 minutes. There is also a train station approximately 12 minutes walk away. If you prefer a more scenic way to travel to the CBD, Hawthorne ferry terminal is only 5 minutes drive away, the ferries are very regular and it's a fantastic way to commute, I recommend all visitors take a ride on the ferry even if it's only to see the city. Morningside also has very easy access to the freeway system and is only about 15 minutes from the airport.

Ok to sit outside on the deck and have fun but please be aware it is a residential neighbourhood and keep any noise to reasonable levels.
Smoking welcome on the deck, but not inside.
Please try to park in front of our house if it's available rather than in front of the neighbours.
