Rated 4 out of 5 by from Large Entertainers House with Spectacular Views We have stayed in houses at Moreton before but found this house in particular to be of better value. The house was about $100 more than we have paid previously but it accommodated more people and was far bigger than what we have stayed in previously. Having gone with two families with four boys between us it accommodated all of us really well. The boys could all have the rooms downstairs and have their own bathroom while upstairs both couples could have an unsuited bedroom with queen/double bed in both. The kitchen was really large and open for everyone to get in and help with meal preparation. The table on the balcony was large enough for all of us to eat around and the views were amazing. The nice touch was being greeted by the Kookaburras in the mornings and afternoons. They are very tame and the boys enjoyed hand feeding them. We went over the Easter weekend and the weather was still really hot but with all the louvered windows open and the two large doors there was plenty of breeze coming in. In response to one of the other reviews; we we emailed to say the door would be left unlocked and the key left of the kitchen bench although it did take 5-10 mins for us to realise which door was the unlocked door. There were the sand steps that led you down to the beach and shops but we did sometimes go the other way around walking down the road which brought you down to behind the restaurants and there were some steps but only about 10 compared to the other way. Another thing to note is that unlike some of the other houses down lower on the beach on the North Pass this house you need to travel on the inner tracks to get to as it is up high on the mountain but well worth the drive.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best value for money We stayed here with our 5 children in Jan 2017. Our trip started on a Sunday and ended on Thursday and began with nobody meeting us to handover keys as organised. This made it extremely difficult as it was a Sunday and the resort was fully booked. We were lucky we found an unlocked door otherwise we would have had nowhere to sleep. The communication from the property managers throughout the stay both prior to and post stay have been atrocious. The house is not air conditioned and the fans in the rooms worked intermittently. The house boasted that it could accommodate up to 10 people yet there was not enough crockery and cutlery for 7 of us, there was not even a toaster. The view was fantastic but as the property was on top of a hill a trip to the beach meant walking up/down approx 150 beach stairs and does not suit young children or anyone who is not quite fit. Given the nightly rate it is not great value for money and after our experience would not stay here again.
