The community of Boonooroo has an active Bowls club, public tennis court, playground and picnic area, all in walking distance and a little further on, a small golf club/tavern. Bring your push bikes and discover Boonooroo for yourself.
The Boonooroo area is a haven for a large variety of birds and other wild life. It is not uncommon to see kangaroos grazing nearby or in your back yard.
Boonooroo is a great central place to explore the region with historic Maryborough 20 minutes away, and Hervey Bay, Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach between 50 minutes to a little over an hour drives.
