As a privately owned one bedroom apartment, we take pride in offering personalized service and, as you are making reservations directly with the owners, we can pass on excellent savings all year round. Included also a sofa bed.

Located only 20 minutes drive north of Cairns, and 30 minutes from Port Douglas, Palm Cove is an easily accessible, central, holiday destination. Take advantage of the many attractions in and around the Cairns northern beaches area and the local delights a Palm Cove holiday can offer. You may also like to use our private vehicle which we offer to our guests, if so please inquire at the time of booking.

Palm Cove's main esplanade is lined with a tropical, palm fringed beach on one side and on the other, boutique shopping, restaurants, galleries and bars against a stunning rainforest backdrop. Seeing it lit up at night, or dining on Casmar Restaurant's balcony among the canopies of the maleucas are unforgettable experiences. In fact, the melaleucas form a natural part of Palm Coves heritage and character and its architecture is respectfully built around them. We are fortunate to have a spectacular example of one such 'Palm Cove icon' situated within view of our balcony, and duly responsible for lending our apartment its name, Laleuca. With its warm tropical water, proximity to numerous tourist attractions including the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef, Palm Cove is the perfect holiday destination for all age groups. Stroll to the jetty for some serious fishing, enjoy a game of golf, cycle, canoe around Double Island, walk or visit the top tourist spots and local markets. Perhaps even a trip to Cairns for a flutter at The Reef Casino might appeal. We guarantee you will not be short of plenty to do if you tire from relaxing by the resorts award winning lagoon pool.

Car Included.

The owners offer their Laleuca guests use of their private vehicle 'free of charge' for the duration of their stay. We simply ask that you wash the car, remove any dirt and rubbish from inside and leave it filled with fuel ready for the next users.

We also ask that you respect this opportunity by not taking the vehicle off-road and report to us any damage or maintenance requirements as necessary.

With all the attractions between Cairns, Mossman Gorge and the FNQ hinterland this presents wonderful value to our guests.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific Place To Stay! We loved the well-equipped apartment with a great balcony and good views of the pool. Everything was clean, the barbecue was useful, having the car was terrific! We have stayed in the Mantra Amphora before and this was undoubtedly the best apartment. The large bed was very comfy, surrounding noise levels quiet and just a few minutes to the beach. Highly recommended!

The car was a great asset too - very handy and unit has a lovely outlook and ocean breezes. Jacqui (the owner) was very approachable and helpful - answered all my queries. Highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great unit and perfect location! We stayed in the Laleuca apartment for 4 nights and would have happily stayed longer if there was availability. Everything was clean and the unit was well stocked with those little things that you need when you're away from home - condiments, beach chairs etc. Jacqui was very accommodating when we asked to pick up the car before check in time. Having the car as a bonus was awesome and with the facilities of the Mantra resort and its location so close to the main Esplanade with restaurants, shops and access to the beach this was a great unit and we'd definitely stay again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic This apartment was so perfect. I stayed for 5 days in April, and it was just great. It was so spacious, well equipped, clean, comfortable, good size balcony with lovely view over the pool and gardens, everything was of a very high standard. I could not believe that a car was included. Other guests I spoke to were gobsmacked at the price I paid. This resort has the best pool in Palm Cove, it's huge with lots of lawn, sunlounges, and beautifully kept gardens. I can't wait to go back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from NIce unit - unfortunate stay & not handle well. We arrived to find the unit dirty. We were advised due to family problems the cleaning was overlooked. Unit was cleaned that afternoon. Aircondition units did not work. We were told by owner they were fine & no one had complained previously. We found out this was wrong & the last guests had complained. For the full four nights we were there we had no airconditioning at all. The bedroom is at the rear of the unit & the sun hits the wall all afternoon, so it is difficult to cool this room prior to sleeping. So we slept in a hot bedroom relieved only by fans. The airconditioners should have been serviced as soon as anyone complained. We were provided a $50 voucher to use in the complex restaurant which we appreciated but this did not make up for the unsettled nights & lack of sleep. Also the tiles on the bathroom floor have built up grime that needs to be removed by a proper scrub - not a mop over.The owners need to be on top of everything or have an agent look after this unit to avoid this happening again.
