Palm Cove is approximately a 25 minute drive north of Cairns International Airport and is home to award winning restaurants and bars and a selection of shops, which are within walking distance from the house.
A four minute drive from this property is Clifton Beach Village Shopping Centre that includes a large Coles supermarket, Target Country, Brumby’s bakery, pharmacy, medical clinic and a newsagency.
Attractions such as the magnificent Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest are all within easy reach. Thirty minutes drive along the magnificent coast to the north is Port Douglas, with its shopping, restaurants and weekly Sunday market. Further north is the heritage listed Daintree Rainforest including Mossman Gorge, Discovery Centre with boardwalk through the understory and canopy of the rainforest, and Cape Tribulation. Also visit the crocodiles at Hartley’s Crocodile Farm only a short drive north of Palm Cove.
Fifteen minutes south is a Go Kart track and Cable Skiing providing wake boarding, water skiing and knee boarding for beginners and experienced skiers. Also in this area is the Cairns Sky Rail where you can take a cable car above the rainforest and then explore the markets and cultural attractions of Kuranda village, which is also accessible via a scenic historic train ride. At the same location fifteen minutes south of the house is Tjapukai Aboriginal Culture Park, where you can experience aboriginal culture and history.
