6 Full Moon is a lovely, affordable, beach style three bedroom, two and a half bathroom townhouse with pool. It is part of a secluded, quiet complex known as Full Moon Terraces. In tropical Queenslander style, it has ceiling fans, french doors and screened louver windows throughout to allow breezes to flow through the house.
Centrally located in the heart of the beautiful, tropical village of Port Douglas, 6 Full Moon offers spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation for your holiday. Relax and read a book, listen to the tropical wildlife, laze in our beach hammock on the balcony or enjoy a glass of wine on the front patio or barbecue on our private back deck.
If resort accommodation isn't to your taste, then 6 Full Moon will be a refreshing alternative! Our holiday house is a fully self contained home away from home, ideal for families or groups of friends. We have beach towels, bicycles with baskets, children's beach toys and beach chairs for you to use. There is also an esky and picnicware for a day at the beach.
We have tried to provide everything you might need for a relaxing tropical getaway. We hope you enjoy our holiday home as much as we do! We come to get warm several times each year!

Situated in a quiet cul de sac, 6 Full Moon is within easy walking distance to all attractions in Port Douglas. Even though it is so close to town, its location on a no through street means that it is safe, peaceful and quiet. Just around the corner is a bistro, a sushi restaurant and bottle shop.
Beautiful Four Mile Beach is only a few minutes walk down the tree-lined beach path. There is a lifeguarded safe ocean swimming enclosure for year round swimming nearby, at the town end of the beach. The Surf Lifesaving Club has great food, as does everywhere in Port. We love Salsa or Sacci for a special night out, Bucci's, the Tin Shed, the Yacht Club, the Whileaway Bookstore and Cafe and many other cafes for breakfast and coffees.
We are just off Port Road which goes to the Marina for trips to the Great Barrier Reef and sunset sails. The main road of Port Douglas, Macrossan Street, is only a 10-15 minute walk along tree-lined Mudlo Street to the wonderful Sunday market, restaurants, cafes, local pubs and boutiques. There is a Coles supermarket and a variety of smaller foodstores and specialty shops.

Laze around the saltwater swimming pool right outside our front door! Shared with only seven other terraced villas, there are deck chairs and sun lounges for you to use and you will usually have the entire pool to yourself as most of our neighbours will be at work.
Our beach style town house is fully self contained with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Relax in our open plan air conditioned living area with our new Smart LCD TV to use with your movie and/or music collection on hard drive, laptop, tablet, smart phone or USB stick. We also have a new Blu Ray DVD player and Micro Hi-Fi System. Pick a book from our bookshelf and laze on a couch or in the hammock upstairs on the front balcony.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with an induction cooktop, oven, microwave, dual thermoblock coffee machine for those lattes, nutribullet juicer, dishwasher, refrigerator and a separate bar fridge for keeping extra drinks cold. The dining area comfortably seats six or you can enjoy your breakfast on the breakfast bar with stools. There is a new gas barbecue on our deck.
There is a powder room and a washing machine, tumble dryer and iron with board in the utility room for you to use during your stay.
Upstairs you will find the master queen bedroom with a full ensuite bathroom, built in wardrobes and a large balcony with a hammock, chairs and table. The second full bathroom is shared by the twin bedroom and the second queen bedroom, which has built in wardrobes and a balcony. The twin bedroom has 2 king single beds which can be zipped together to make a king size bed. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and new air conditioners (as of January 2014) and all new mattresses (as of February 2016).
We have just organized to have WiFi (free) put on at the house - that should be up and running by the end of February 2016.
There are 5 adult and 2 children's bikes, helmets, locks, lights and pumps in the garage directly behind the house - same key as front and back door. You will also find some beach chairs and banana lounges to take to the beach, gas BBQ, heat bead BBQ and a hose for washing off bikes and kids.
There is a bottle shop and restaurants just around the corner.
