Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing little Gem We stayed in #206 Beachfront Bliss, Port Douglas Terraces, for a week during the July 2017 school holidays. We are a family of four from Sydney with kids aged 14 and 12. This is my first online review as I feel I need to let others know about the absolute gem we found in Port Douglas. We started our search by looking at the larger hotel chains in the area but many of the larger resorts are quite far from the ‘action’ the patrolled beach, marina and main street, Macrossan Street, where all the shopping and dining happens we’re so glad we chose to stay here! We didn’t need our car everything is in walking distance which was great for the kids to be able to explore independently. The 2 bedroom, 2 level apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival. It was well appointed with everything you could want in a beachside home away from home, including a brand new kitchen and weber barbeque. The beds were super comfortable with a TV and ensuite in the master (and a glorious ocean view from the balcony) and large second bedroom with separate beds (queen and single bed) perfect for the kids. The patrolled beach is literally across the street and the complex also has a newly renovated heated pool. Deb was incredibly helpful and there to greet us on arrival. We had no issues at all during our stay but Deb was just a phone call away. Location simply unbeatable, quiet and the apartment super comfortable, we had the best family holiday. Thank you!
