Take a day trip to The Daintree Rain Forest (The oldest Rainforest in the world and the only Rainforest in the world to meet a Coral Reef) and Cape Tribulation where Captain James Cook's ship the Endeavour ran aground on the reef in 1770 or perhaps a 4 wheel drive trip up The Bloomfield Track to Cooktown where the ship was repaired.
