Apartment 58 at The Reef Club Resort is in an excellent location. The apartment is on the top floor in the north east corner at the rear of the complex away from main road traffic noise. Just a few minutes walk to the famous Four Mile Beach, and a little further to The Marina and Macrossan St, the heart of Port Douglas, with vibrant cafes, shops, entertainment and fine dining.
The Reef Club is still far enough away from the town to appreciate the tropical atmosphere and quiet surroundings. The apartment catches the ocean breeze, the birds and the murmur of the waves at night. And the very quiet top floor means no neighbours above you.
There are 2 bedrooms, the main has a queen bed and the second bedroom is configured with two single beds which can be pushed together and made up as a king if required. Up to four guests can be accommodated.
The apartment offers a great “value for money” choice of holiday accommodation and is ideal for families, friends on a budget or simply a couple taking advantage of the low rates for a long-term booking. The kitchen is equipped with a small cook top, microwave and fridge. The bathroom has a bath as well as a shower. In the landscaped gardens you will find a large covered BBQ area for guest use – a fabulous spot to enjoy the tropical scenery while you BBQ the days catch. The pool and spa are situated nearby set in landscaped gardens with shaded areas from the midday sun. Downstairs you will find a large communal laundry with washing machines, dryers and a laundry tub. All machines take $1.00 coins. Undercover and off-street parking at the resort. Free Wi-fi internet is available at the Reception area and there is a mobile modem available for your use within the apartment. Details are provided in the apartment folder that you will find on the coffee table.
Upon your arrival you will find professionally laundered bed linen. We provide each of our guests with bath and hand towels, face washers, bath mat, pool towels and tea towels. A complimentary bathroom amenities pack and tea, coffee and milk are also provided together with dishwashing liquid, laundry powder and cloth to start your stay. It is a self-service Apartment so the room is made up on your arrival and you take over from there. A mid stay service can be arranged if required.
As our guest you have access to all the amenities of the Resort. The heated pool & spa, BBQ area in landscaped gardens, communal laundry, undercover or off-street parking.
If you don't feel like the short walk into town, the regular local bus stops right outside the door. Hire cars or bikes are plentiful. Transport to and from the airport couldn't be easier, the local coach company will collect you from the airport or hotel to coincide with your flight. We will email you with options prior to your stay.
Pets are not permitted in the Reef Club, and no smoking please. The Resort has a friendly, relaxed, quiet environment suitable for couples, families and friends. Guests are encouraged to respect and enjoy this atmosphere. Definitely no party-people please :-
We live in Port Douglas. We bought apt 58 to be our winter escape and home away from Melbourne. We love the area so much we bought a house and decided to live here permanently. I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. A local manager is on-hand to assist with any requirements you may have during your stay if we should be away.
