A thousand metres above sea level, in the tropics, you will find a luxury lodge surrounded by forest perched over the pristine waters of a river at the point where the river cascades down into a deep 70 m.long swimming hole replete with platypus. The climate is warm and the air dry and unlike the coast the nights are cool. The property has 90 acres of untouched forest with approx. 1km. of creek flowing through it into the river. There is a gorge and 4 waterfalls along the creek so that one can bush walk on the property itself as well as the many walks offered in the surrounding mountains.A floodlit tennis court is available with ball machine.
A dominant aspect of this wilderness experience is the isolation and complete privacy. There are no other guests or neighbours just wildlife.
