You are only a few minutes walk to the Bay’s famous pier (excellent for fishing), quiet sandy beaches, esplanade bikeways and walking tracks. For the less active visitors a variety of grassed picnic areas, restaurants, casual dining, coffee shops, eateries are all with magnificent water views across to the famous Fraser Island. A 15 minute walk along the scenic path will bring you to Hervey Bay’s vibrant marina, with another selection of shops and restaurants including the renowned Boat Club (with courtesy buses) and access to all the available Fraser Island connections and sight-seeing tours. A similar distance in the opposite direction you have Hervey Bay’s Botanic Gardens and the Urangan Central shopping complex for all of your shopping needs.
If you have your own boating vessel the harbour boasts excellent boat ramps for easy access to Hervey Bay’s waterways or the River Heads boat ramp is a short drive away if you prefer fishing the Mary and Susan river systems.
