Regular flights operate from Hervey Bay airport straight to the beaches of Fraser Island.

Enjoy the coffee shops on the way. Walk along the Urangan pier. Go for a swim in the ocean. Hervey Bay is shielded from the forces of the Pacific ocean.
"Oceanview" is located at the tip of Point Vernon in peaceful Hervey Bay, overlooking the ocean. It is about 30 minutes drive from Maryborough, and 3 ½ hours from Brisbane. There are direct flights from Sydney Virgin Blue and Brisbane Qantas directly to Hervey Bay's airport, "Fraser Coast" HVB.

We have many guests from the southern states, and particularly from Melbourne, who escape the cold climate in winter and enjoy the calmness of the Bay in summer. Hervey Bay is situated in the subtropics, with an average maximum temperature of a very pleasant 22 degrees Celsius in June, July and August.
