Newly renovated,originally built as the Tin Can Bay Post Office the postmasters 2 bedroom residence is now available for holiday rental. Situated in the heart of Old Tin Can adjacent the water with water view, walk to all - Beach, Restaurants/Cafe, Shops,Marina,Pub,Yacht Club walks/cycling pathways, go fishing, Dolphin Feeding and more.

The Unit has polished hardwood floors throughout completely new kitchen and bathroom. There is Lounge, large Kitchen/Dinning, Sun room to relax with water view, 2 Bedrooms to sleep up to 4. Bathroom/Laundry, rear deck with Webber BBQ, overlooks a landscaped garden with car accommodation.

Tin Can Bay is situated on the mainland at the southern end of Fraser Island, surrounded by water it is not really a bay but a point with Snapper Creek one side and Crab Creek the other.

Your accommodation looks North towards the point and Crab Creek, quite considerable expanse of water.

If you walk towards the point, 2 minutes away is the Snack Shack excellent take aways seafood,

burgers, pizza, 4 minutes walk to Lees fresh seafood, past waterfront homes and the beach to the boat ramp about 8 minutes, where you will find Barnacles cafe dolphin feeding,

Tin Can Bay house boat and kayak hire, fishing gear, bait etc, Coast Guard, and on the point the yacht club, cold beer, great food with the best view in Tin Can all within easy walking distance.

Going left from your accommodation you will find yourself at the Marina restaurant overlooking the yachts, a great place for dinner or just a good coffee and a snack 3 minutes walk, you can also pick up the 10,000 steps walk from here.

Turning right, you will find the Sleepy Lagoon Hotel, across the road is Crab Creek foreshore where you can walk or bicycle along the foreshore path through old growth forest, arriving at Temptations Cafe and boat ramp a lovely spot for a swim or a bit of beach combing.

Going by car you can reach Rainbow Beach, Inskip point, Rainforest walks, Freshwater creeks, plus

many other attractions all within a 30 minute drive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great presentation and comfortable apartment Lovely relaxed hosts, and a very laid back atmosphere in Tin Can Bay. A fishers paradise where each street is a fish species! We enjoyed finding Dory but never found Nemo. The apartment is immaculate but simple and easy to live in . We loved the polished wooden floors, comfortable beds, and fresh herbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Location, modern, Clean and Comfy. Our family had a wonderful stay at The Old Post Office. The accommodation is newly renovated, spotlessly clean, comfortable, in a great location and had all we needed. we enjoyed eating our meals at the bar in the lovely sun room overlooking the park and water. Not a single midgie to be seen. We could have happily stayed here for a week. Fantastic bike paths and skate bowl nearby for our boys.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect holiday accomodation Excellent spot with everything thoughtfully provided. Accomodation was spotlessly clean and a delight with the tastefully completed renovations. So close to great cycleways and walking track. Even though property is across the road from a caravan park it was absolutely quiet....no traffic, no noise, no hassles! Within few minutes walk of a great takeaway shop with quality food. Affordable - if this property was at the Sunshine Coast you would pay double the price.
