1770 is a short drive from Sunsets on Seaspray, where you can take a cruise out to view the Great Barrier Reef or take a trip on the famous Larc, the amphibious vessel that will take you Bustard Bay Lighthouse. On May 24th 1770 Captain James Cook anchored the Endeavour and went ashore to explore the area. This was the birthplace of Queensland.
